Iron Horse Park

This place is completely run by volunteers and the price is cheap for a ride! My kids love it there. The staff are friendly and enjoying themselves as they tell stories of how the place came to be. I have been stung by the wasps up by the wooden play train in the centre of the park every single time I've gone so beware of those buggers.

Lots of fun. Family friendly! Kids love the train rides. I just wish there were more to go on!

We were lucky to come across this in our travels. Our two young children had a lot of fun. It would be a great place for a picnic or birthday party. Price seems incredily inexpensive and the train ride was fun. I was impressed how the conductors were quite professional and concerned about safety while operating the train. For a volunteer run park, they are doing a great job. Check it out.

This place is a hidden gem, has been in operation for over 10 years and I just recently came across. Very reasonable ticket price ($3) and long track. Kids would love it if they like trains and you can enjoy it even as an adult too. Option to host birthday parties as well ! Not that busy either. There was no wait for first ride and about 15 mins on second turn.

This place is absolutely fantastic! Volunteers have built about 2km of 1/8 scale railway track, and for $3 you can ride on a miniature train car around the track, over and under several bridges and through two tunnels. It's generally only open on Sundays in the summer, so check the hours before you go.
