Chinook Winds Regional Park, Airdrie, AB

-Splash park opens daily in summer from 10am- 8pm, usually busy on weekends. -Nice playground -Beach Volleyball court style, where kids can also enjoy playing with sand -Big Skate park -Lots of seating areas/ benches - Free parking is available - basketball and baseball courts are also available

Quite the nice splash park. Has a massive bowl that empties periodically that the kids will enjoy, lots of things to spray, and a little lazy river setup you can put your feet in. There are also nice shade providing sail shaped cloths in bright colors to protect from the sun and cool off. There is also a nice playground that you can use if you don't feel like getting wet. Please give it a try and keep the space clean and safe!

On a hot summer this is literally a blast of cool freshness! The cold water is exactly what was needed in these extreme temperatures. It was neat and beautifully kept. Fun for children and the young at heart! The free entry means that this actually deserves more than 5 stars. A place to go with the kids

A delightful park for families to visit in Airdrie! There’s ample parking and lots of spaces to set up picnic blankets for relaxation. Splash park is a treat for young and old alike. Playgrounds have soft, rubber flooring for safety. Huge skate park! Staff keeps everything nice and clean.

It's a fun place for kids to play there, water park is closed atm due to pandemic but otherwise its really good to cool off in hot summery days. Fireworks on Canada day was awesome, our family attends this event every year and kids love it

So many options for great exercise and play here. Well taken care of always full of families and friends having a blast. Great place to hang out or host an event!

An amazing Skate Park for kids. My kids absolutely love coming there to ride their bike, scooter or skateboards. Also has a water park and a really nice playground.

It is fun going to this Spray Park - it is not to crowded as other spray parks we have been too. We just move to Airdrie a year ago and we are loving it. One of the things i like in this park is the "GOOD CLEAN FUN" Poster. It give facts about the water used in the Spray Park. It gives confidence and ease knowing that the water flowing is clean. There are available sheds inside the spray area, perfect for family picnic while waiting for kids. Just note that Spray park closes at 8 PM and does not offer washroom/ change room. This park is not as huge as the Chinook winds in Calgary, but my kids enjoy it, so do I! Will definitely go back.

Great place for all ages. Baseball fields, playgrounds, paths and a skate park! Have been going there for years, just mind potholes haha
