Fabulous hardwood flooring installed in several rooms and a cross hall. It is so beautiful! Jurgen even created custom flat hardwood vent covers and provided a matched stain for the painter who was treating our bannister. High quality workmanship, excellent service and fair price. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. They installed cork flooring, refinished existing hardwood and replaced banister and spindles. Their finishing touches set this company apart from others used in the past.

we hired IHF to put hardwood on two curved staircases, living room dining room and family room. The crew was professional and courteous and the work was completed exactly on schedule. Jurgen was very easy to deal with and offered me great advice on finishing the spindles. We have had nothing but compliments about the workmanship and the finished product. Highly recommend this company

I hired Imperial Hardwood Flooring (aka IHF) St.Catharines to supply and install hardwood flooring. They matched the new floor with hardwood that we presently have which is over 10 years old. The owner Jurgen is a very very reasonable person to deal with. Great communication skills. Jurgen popped in to see me while install was in progress to make sure I was happy. The install team was very professional and did a great job, they took the time to make sure subfloor was secure and added screws for good measure to avoid any potential squeaks or pops. Very meticulous and attention to detail. They kept my house clean throughout the install. Floor seams are all tight, there cuts and staggering is perfect. Final product turned out amazing. IHF recycled my old carpet, they cut it to size, added padding and binded the edges to make a large area rug so our young children can play with there toys without damaging new floor. For a marginal cost, IHF saved me hundreds and hundreds of dollars from buying a 13' x 11' area rug. Kudos!! to the staff at IHF. I highly recommend IHF, great staff with quality products and installation. Keep up the good work.Two thumbs up!

Advise any one planning to use Imperial to get multiple price quotes, hickory floors were quoted at 11 per sq ft, after calling the manufacturer and other distributors of the same product the price miraculously changed to 8.50 per sq foot after confrontation with Imperials owner. Layout of boards was half assed during install, boards that were visibly unappealing placed in inappropriate spots, board in entry way is sunken and doesn't line up. Board in bedroom has already began to crack length wise, wood install in November we are currently in March. Flooring in second living area installed and had to be torn out shortly after due to quality of work. This was only achieved after a large amount of volitaile discussion on the part of Imperial after the initial refusal. During finishing wood filler used all over, shortly after install began to crack and come out of seams, wood filler used on railing left in clumps and seen even at a short glance. Buyer beware when dealing with Imperial. If anyone is interested in pictures or more information about my dealings with this company let me know.
