1 Month old review Fabulous experience!! We went on a Friday evening and it was deserted so we got top notch service! The bread and oil were so perfect. The tomato soup was legitimately the best tomato soup of both my life and my wife's.. We'd come back just for the soup and occasionally call just to see if it's the soup of the day. Our pasta was cooked perfectly, our drinks were perfect. What a nice inside environment, super unique and rustic.
We arrived early so we were able to partake in the Sunset Special Menu. An amazing 4 course meal for $26 per person. Totally worth it, everything was mouthwatering deliciousness. Looking forward to eating my way through the menu.
Wow, fantastic Italian food. House made pasta and tiramisu. Absolutely wonderful food, great gluten free options too. Cozy atmosphere and lovely staff. Our waitress, Ananda was sweet, friendly and very efficient.
We wanted a place to host our 50th anniversary luncheon. Though the restaurant didn’t open until 3:30pm, the owner opened the entire restaurant to our party from 12:30-3:00pm and was very responsive to all our questions and requests. The food was great, the service was wonderful, and the staff accommodated requests for gluten-free items. Tony was very gracious and got our grandchildren involved in making announcements and delivering a personal birthday cake to my brother. We had a great time.
It was an outstanding event! Bill, the owner of Il Granaio, worked with us to craft a custom menu of plated dinners that the guests could choose from. We had over 25 people at the party. The event began at 5pm and ended at 9pm. Our waiter, Tony, stayed ahead of the guests' requests and served as a perfect liaison between the party and Chef & the Kitchen staff. Each guest remarked that they had a fabulous time, the beverages were phenomenal, the meals were superb and we sincerely appreciate Il Granaio for their team's professional contribution to a stellar event - Thank you to Bill, Tony, the Chef and the kitchen staff!
Everything we ordered was delicious - from garlic bread, tomato soup, to the main course! I personally enjoyed Linguine Pescatore. It has good amount of seafood.Food: 5/5
***UPDATE! Our second visit. El Granaio is an Italian restaurant that is truly a gem, I’m glad we came back. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm and welcoming smiles. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and relaxing, perfect for a romantic evening out or a casual dinner with friends. We started off our meal with the cioppino from the happy hour menu, which was simply fantastic. The flavors were bold and the seafood was cooked to perfection. For our main course, I opted for the Linguine pescatore and it was truly one of the best pasta dishes I have ever tasted. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was rich and flavorful. My fiancé had the wild salmon ravioli, which was made fresh daily from the sunset menu. The flavors were incredible and the presentation was beautiful. To accompany our meals, we each ordered the tomato basil soup, which was absolutely delicious. The soup was creamy and had the perfect balance of flavors. The wine pairing with our dinner was spot on, and our server was knowledgeable and attentive throughout the meal. For dessert, we indulged in the panna cotta, which was the perfect ending to an amazing meal. The texture was smooth and creamy, and the flavor was delightful. Overall, our experience at El Granaio was nothing short of exceptional. The food was outstanding, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was inviting and romantic. We will definitely be back again and again to experience everything that this amazing Italian restaurant has to offer. ******* We had high hopes prior to visiting this place. We wanted it to be a great experience, unfortunately it was just okay. The service was very slow. We ran out of drinks and had to wait for food a long time. No one checked on us for at least 20 minutes. Our Old Fashioned was bland, although the wine was good. The bread was delicious, our pasta dinner was very good. The seafood was cooked perfectly except the prawns, they were a little overcooked. We are planning to go back again to see if it was just an isolated incident. We were given free desert for the inconvenience of wait time. Seems like staffing in kitchen may have been a bit overwhelmed. Overall, it was decent food wise, just a bit disappointed with the length of service.
We could not have been happier. Made reservations for a special event for my wife and I at 4:30 PM on a Saturday strongly recommended. We had chosen the Milano Room, which was comfortable and cozy. Elean, our server, was absolutely perfect. His knowledge of the menu helped us decide on dishes, and his pleasant demeanor, accompanied by his mixologist skills, helped make the entire experience absolutely memorable. We chose to choose the Sunset Special, which is a full 4 course meal served from 3 PM to 6 PM. I had the house made 5 cheese and spinach ravioli, while my wife enjoyed the strozzaapreti calabrese. I have already told every friend we have about our experience, and we are trying to find a reason to avoid going back tonight. If you have the opportunity, make yourself a reservation, and prepare to enjoy yourself. Features: No masks required
Our party of four had a wonderful experience again with some very delicious meals. Thank you chefs! We have always been impressed with the great selection of food choices on the menu. We would definitely recommend your great restaurant to others. Wonderful dining atmosphere too. Tony our server was really experienced and was a very good server. Tony knew just when and how to service our table with out being overly bothersome as some servers tend to be. Five stars for sure!
This is a very well run and managed Italian restaurant. I made the reservation and I was reminded via email and text so that I won't forget, it's a good thing! We took our guests for a party of four to celebrate the birthday of one of the guests. The ambient is old time and have a good vibes that I liked. The service was quick, attentive, and friendly. The choices in the menu were very good and we have plenty of time to enjoy the appetizers and main courses. The orders we got were delicious and the presentations were excellent. We ordered a bottle of wine and the the food was so good that we ordered another bottle. There is parking in the restaurant but often it was full. There are free parking a few blocks away.
