IHOP

This is a restaurant that as a customer I want them to succeed but they keep shooting themselves in the foot. We took our 8 yr. old grandson for a late breakfast on a Saturday morning. Herman seated and served us. He served us water and took our order. Here's where things went downhill. My meal was the only meal that came out correctly. I ordered a 55+ 2+2+2 it was fine. My wife ordered pumpkin spice pancakes with whipped cream and scrambled eggs. She received regular pancakes without whipped cream. The scrambled eggs were fine. The replacement pumpkin spice pancakes took forever to come, I had finished my meal. When they did arrive they did come with whipped cream but no butter. My wife slowly ate the pancakes waiting for butter. It arrived when she had eaten about half the pancakes. My grandson ordered from the kids menu. He also ordered a strawberry lemonade which never arrived. The manager was going to nearly every table to attend to customer complaints. There was a table of about 8 just adjacent to us. The server brought out the bill just as another server brought out a meal for one of the people in the party. Everyone else has eaten their meal, the bill was printed and delivered for the entire party and she just then got her meal!?!? This restaurant has potential, they just need the right people to staff it. Kid-friendliness: They offer a kid's menu, have "Kids eat free day" and the staff are kid friendly.

Went today with my wife and daughter. wife and I had different Eggs Benedict. The poached eggs were way over cooked, I let the server know and the response was that the cooks were making lots of mistakes and so on, that's it, she did not offer any comp. She was very friendly, but clearly lacks training. Other than that, they were tasty. Daughter liked her pancakes. I don't need to go again any time soon.

Walked in and no hostess. Only 4 customers in there. I should have known that was not a good sign. I waited till a waitress walked by and asked if my wife and I could sit at the first table. She said sure. As we were sitting Chelsea runs over and yells "Next time you come here wait to be seated!" "What?" I asked and said "the waitress said it was OK." She replied "Well, you have to wait for a hostess because we assign seating by areas." I replied "Wow, are you rude, I asked to be seated and was told I could sit". By the time the waitress came back and said she told us it was OK to sit, Chelsea was giving us her attitude and said if we didn't like it we could leave. I asked to talk to the manager and she said she was the assistant manager and in charge, and it we didn't like it we could leave! We said we would and she said fine and don't come back! We then went to Meli Cafe. What a treat! Great service and great food. No wonder IHOP was empty and Meli was full!

I haven't visited a IHOP in a very long time since my last experience was really awful but my son said I would really enjoy this place and I was actually happy with the food, the service, and the atmosphere was friendly enough. I'd like to add it was clean and that was /is important to me...Food: 5/5

Went here last night. Our waitress was kind and welcoming. Food was great too. A little dead in the restaurant because there wasn't a lot of customers in there.Food: 5/5

This used to be a great breakfast place. But recently we had a very disappointing visit. Their hostess was not at the entry place was al.ost empty so was busy in conversation quite a distance e away so had to shout to get her Attention. . We were seated across from the only guy in the place. But here's the real disappointment, there were at least 6 tables n not cleared . Then our waitress came to take our drink order with the dirty ess apron I've ever seen and a blouse dirty to match. With that we certainly didn't want to chance what the kitchen cleanliness matched this mess. So we just left to go to a clean restaurant !!!

Waited 10minutes to be acknowledged, manager and waitstaff ignored me, sat down to eat and had DIRTY eating Utensils. Totally unacceptable experience as I am from out of town

As soon as we walked in the restaurant was an oven. Not many customers but the heat was blasting. The server took a while to come by. Took our drink order but didn't bring cream or sugar. Came back took our food order. Food came out longer than expected. Not complete. She didn't ask if we needed condiments and never brought the last pancake order. We asked multiple times. Server walked out and no one checked on is until we flagged someone down. The assistant manager finished serving us and received better service. First and and last time coming to this IHOP. Do better Racine.

If I could rate Zero stars I would! My family and I “wife And children” were eating our food. A husband en his wife came in to sit down the waitress was extremely rude because she say they cannot sit themselves and kicked them out the waitress wEre yelling at them to leave very very rude I believe her name is Chelsea or Rachel I could not remember but won’t be returning is not friendly to customers

Skip this IHop. The service was good, but this picture is what they think is corned beef hash. By the way, that's not corned beef - it's ham. We ordered their "special" coffees. They came black, no creamer, and no Swiss Mocha taste. I will say that the omelet was good. Our server was very nice, but I hope she finds a better gig. Now I remember why I don't go to IHop.
