Kewpee Lunch

The quintessential All-American burger joint! Hamburgers, fries, malts, chili...what more could you want? The interior atmosphere laden with kewpee doll memorabilia looks unchanged since at least the 1950s, and that's a great thing! My boyfriend and I visited here, as his family has deep roots in Racine and we were in the area. Couldn't have been a more perfect lunch. Eating burgers and drinking malts in the same spot his great-grandparents sat decades ago made for a nostalgic and enjoyable time. Thanks for keeping Americana alive!

Very old school burger joint in downtown Racine. You get a real authentic feel when dining here. Burger & fries were great and prices are very reasonable. Interior is special with all the dolls but it adds to the authentic feeling. Highly recommended!

IT IS SO THE LICIOUS AND I ABSOLOOTLY RECK THE MEND YOU COME HERE!!!! My boyfriend stuart took me here as a date and when we walked in we were greeted by all of the little kewpies on the shelves and all around us. We ordered a kewpie burger for me and a double borgir for my stuart and a rootbeer french fry and even a strawberry milk shake for me and it was so yummy and good They even had perry cuomos lyrics on the wall of his song kewpie doll which is one of my favrits to be honest with you

If you’re a Racine native, you hold a special place in your heart for this quick lunch spot. If you’re an out of towner, make sure you have at least $20 in cash and make sure to leave a tip for your fast and friendly server!

Always love going here! The gentleman who waits at the counter is always fantastic, never have an empty glass. Always ask my fiancé and I if we ever need anything the entire time we’re there. We purposely wait just to sit in his section every time. Never disappointed any time we go, best spot in town with best prices!

Great local place. Hamburger and fries under $6. Cute diner from days gone by.

My waiter was very nice, attentive of things i needed for the meal. Etc. The food was freshly cooked and fries, and served hot. The only thing i missed was the glass for the rootbeer was not frozen like they used to do years ago

Worth the wait! Best burgers in Wisconsin. The root beer is homeaid and some of the best I've tasted! Must go spot if in the area. Very interesting decor but one you have to experience. This is a cash only place, and parking isn't optimal.

Better than ok,but you're going more for nostalgic reasons than great food. Enjoyed my burger fries and cup of chili, w/homemade root beer, don't worry it is all very good food. Just not over the top on anything other than the root beer and really great prices!
