I had my 17th birthday there, also my first time eating there and the food was ok. I had a group of maybe 18 and since there's no reservations that was a bit of a mess but the staff was able to work it out and I think they were very attentive. I got a good amount of food for the price but I honestly think It could have been better. Not enough flavor in the veggies and such, but overall I would go again and order something new... Like maybe try the ribs.
Me my husband, my sister and her boyfriend came in sat evening to the racine wi location , We had Donavan as a server! He was absolutely fabulous. He was so bright and cheery ans positive. They were extremely busy, through all that he never forgot anything we asked for and was on top of his game! I haven't had such great service in 35 plus years. He definitely deserves more than the tip we left and a recognition!!
Very busy Sunday evening. Wonderful Server, various other staff checking on our needs. A particular country song came on and staff and patrons did line dancing. What a nice change in the service industry. I know it's tough. Kudos to everyone from my 1st call if availability to there farewell as we left. Did I mention that food was excellent too? Bone in ribeye was perfectly seasoned. Hubby also had ribs and was very pleased. We need to visit more often!
Update: Visit 1 - Food was absolute trash. Everything was light, even when asking for extra. Beef tips were so dry. Service was on point. Thanks A.P. Very disappointing first visit... ever. Visit 2 - same location Again the food was not great. Steak was way over cooked. We didn't get the "famous" rolls and butter until requested. Again service was awesome. It was Graduation, and the new graduates requested it, or I wouldn't have returned.
My wife and I both had Early Bird specials, which turned out to be more food than I had at first anticipated. The food was very good, but what made the dinner better than usual dinners-out was the service by our waitress Randi. She was very nice, very friendly, and very attentive, coming by regularly for refills or to see if we needed anything. She made a nice dinner even better.
Texas Roadhouse never disappoints. We come here for everyone's birthday in my family and the whole family loves it. Between the food and the service, we always pick it as our go-to birthday celebration dinner. The steaks are excellent here and are always cooked well. My grandma loves the green beans the most with the bacon bits! My brother goes for the chicken Caesar salad which looks amazing. I personally like the sirloin steak cooked medium. At the end of the day, you can be assured Texas Roadhouse will be a good choice. Parking: Definitely plenty of parking spaces. My grandma is handicapped and she found a spot near the entrance right away.
Normally we have a good experience but this time we ordered take out. We got the butter for the rolls but no rolls. I had a side salad and there was a chunk of something in my dressing cup. My meat was kinda hard and the rice was very salty. I’ll pass on this place next time.
Steak was overcooked. Service was okay but 2 different managers stopped by more than once. Its good to check on tables but please don't overdue it. I felt I couldn't take time to enjoy my meal. One quick visit from one manager should be enough. I usually love Texas Roadhouse , this is the first location where I didn't have a perfect experience. Didn't enjoy my steak. Because other locations are excellent, I may give this one another try but leaning towards going to the Milwaukee location instead
Definitely worth more than a 45 minute wait for our party of five. Not a space to be had in the parking lot. AP was our top notch server Saturday evening. A must try if you're planning a fun, high energy dinner surroundings. Plan for adjacent lot parking. Food: 5/5
