Had the brisket sandwich and fries. Brisket was dry. Definitely was made and reheated a day later.. My daughters pulled pork on her sandwich was dry also. Wifes chicken salad dry too. One tip serve it fresh the day you cook it. Could have been really good. Portion size was too big. Lower price and better quality and you definitely will have something people will really enjoy. Environment was nice even with no view of the water.

The BBQ-oriented menu is something new, but it is definitely worth a stop in. Being behind the Island House Hotel, a lot of people don't realize it is there, which means it isn't crowded, like some Mackinac Island restaurants can be. My wife and I had the BBQ Nachos appetizer, and it was basically a small lunch for the two of us, which worked out really well. Some of the people eating near us said that the Pulled Pork was some of the best they had ever had. Prices were really good, by Island standards, too.

The beef brisket is a must have experience. Huge sandwich with gouda cheese, grilled onions, coleslaw, and their home made chips.
