ICBC Driver Licensing

I dislike the counter 16 employee today Dec. 19, 2024 this morning. Tan complexion. Not accommodating at all. She is not informing me the things about my license until I ask. No politeness and she is in a rush.

Today, May 23rd, 2024, at 2:30 pm, I had an appointment at this ICBC location to renew my driver's license and BC service card. I arrived 10 minutes early, checked in, and joined the queue. I was given a small paper note with a number, which would appear on the screen to direct me to the appropriate counter. After waiting for about 60 minutes, my number appeared on the screen, and I proceeded to the designated counter. The representative asked me some questions, which I answered, and then informed me that I needed to pay $75.00 to renew my driver's license. I found this fee to be unexpectedly expensive. The representative then took a new photo ID, and I left the office. The Women at Counter #6 was nice and friendly, helpful indeed.nnI would like to note that despite having an appointment, I experienced a lengthy wait. I also kindly request that ICBC consider reducing the renewal fee for driver's licenses, as it may be a burden for some individuals.

Had a great experience as a walk-in today. Came an hour and a half early and was second in line an hour early would of been sufice. Decent line by 8:30am. All walk-ins and one appointment. Had to renew my license and pay a ticket. Within 15 min of walking through the doors, I was finished. Staff was great and friendly. Totally made my day.

I chose this location for my class 5 road test and passed with flying colours. Shawn was very professional and unbiased throughout the test. He made me feel very comfortable so I could give my best. I have encountered biased and rude examiners previously in Surrey, but Shawn was exceptional.

I was recently here for a driving test 3rd time at this location & this time Shaheen was my examiner. I will always remember him in my prayers with my blessings for his positive attitude towards me.He was very calm, polite & the way he made me feel so comfortable , I could perform my driving test very confidently. I felt him unbiased, genuine & sincere towards his job. He deserves a round of applause!!
