Cloverdale Health Unit

I've been there 3x in the past year to vaccinate my little one. The first 2 times the nurse we had was great. As a new mom I've always appreciated how the public health unit nurses gave me advice and taught me new techniques around feeding and getting my baby to sleep. They also have been reassuring and patient, which I really appreciate as a new first time mom. This last time we had someone who left me feeling really badly about coming here. She was impatient with my baby, rude and condescending towards me for asking a question and made uncalled for remarks about my family doctor. I felt really uncomfortable and judged and will take my daughter elsewhere for her next set of vaccinations.

They gave wrong vaccination to my child. My child was already done with MMR vaccination schedule last month. They gave an extra vaccine of MMR, when MEN-C was suppose to be given. Please check multiple time and ask the multiple times which vaccination is being given. And the manager said that extra vaccine will only increase immunity, without consulting any doctor. This is a human error and a big error. MMR is a live virus vaccine unlike most other vaccines.

Bad place to get your baby’s immunizations done. Go to a family doctor instead. They don’t do any weigh in and growth checks. They don’t have anywhere so you can set your baby down to get them in and and out of their clothing for the shot. Stressful enough with a crying baby and now you’re trying to handle them and dress them on your lap.

I’ve been here once for immunizations for my child. Everything went well and the staff were friendly. The reason for my review is to give directions to this location. I had a very difficult time trying to find exact directions anywhere online or getting through to someone in the office to get directions. This office is located on the SECOND FLOOR of the building located to the RIGHT of No Frills.

I took my son in there today to get his immunizations and they were absolutely amazing in there I cannot stand the Langley health unit they are very ignorant and rude but this place was the best. I miss the Vancouver unit where my daughter got her immunizations but I'm very happy I switch to this one and not Langley.

Standards subpar and give injections and parents left to do rest like fill out the immunization booklet, put on bandages, and so on. Central booking is subpar too.

Linda was a great nurse. knowledgeable and great with my daughter. friendly staff and no wait on weekdays.
