I Love Nails and Spa

I have been going here for shellac manicures on and off for over a year. They completely wrecked my nails. They went from strong and healthy to splitting and thin in the last year. I realized this was because instead of soaking off the shellac polish they use the motorized file on your bare nail to remove it. After realizing this I asked the lady last time to just soak the polish off and not use the motor file. She soaked one hand and then started using the file on the other one! I told her she was hurting me (as my nails are now thin and sensitive) and she did not stop. I will never come back here as there are too many nail techs in the area who actually know what they are doing and do not damage your nails. A shellac manicure (no fake nails) should not cause this much damage.

I used to love this Salon. But recently, I went and was getting my full face waxed. The lady didn't think about the fact that my face would be cold due to the weather outside. She ended up putting the hot wax on my face and my skin burned. It's been about a week and a half. The scar is still there.

Worst place I have ever been too. I used to go here when it first opened and it was okay. The owners have changed a few times and over time it has gotten worse and worse. I got bio gel nails a week ago and already have 2 broken nails and another one at the verge of breaking. She charged me an extra 5$ for the length and then an extra 5$for the color I wanted- mindyou it is just a regular color. I paid 65$ for bio gel nails. I've always been going to Mary's in woodbine and they are by far the best place. Never have broken nail. My bio gel nails last me 5-6 weeks without any chip or anything. And they only charge 45$ regardless of the length or color. I do not recommend this place.

I have never had a negative experience here. The ladies are so incredibly nice and welcoming. They take their time and pay attention to detail. I would definitely recommend this place anytime!

I've tried to give these people my business plenty of times and have had a lot of bad experience. 1. I booked an appointment last year for my birthday for a acrylic set with shellac, a pedicure, eyebrows and lash extension. In the middle of my pedicure, they told me they don't have time to do my eyelashes. So why even make an appointment? They told me to come back later in the day. 2. Fast forward a year later, I booked an appointment just to have my nails filled and was told to come in a half hour within me calling. I arrive and there's already 2 people being serviced and another 3 sitting down waiting. I was told to come back in an hour. Their customer service is horrible and their services are always half a**. Do not go here.
