If I could make this zero stars, I would. Bar none the worst experience I have ever had. I showed up, test drove a used Elantra. Seemed fine, had some scratches/rust & the tires/rims/brakes were old but nothing notable. I knew that they would have to replace the brakes anyways if they didn't pass safety. They also told me they would replace the damaged front bumper. 1st of many lies. Should've had them write everything on the bill of sale. Taking their word for it was a big mistake. Finalized the deal & drove off the lot. Immediately there's issues. Let's start with the lies that I should've told them to explicitly write out: -"We'll replace the front bumper" Lie. Still had the damaged bumper on it -$50 of gas, included as part of the final price. Lie. Tank was almost empty. I had to drive back to the dealership on fumes to get them to put gas in the tank. -Your car will be cleaned/detailed before you pick it up. Not a complete lie, but the job they did cleaning it was terrible. Whatever cleaning solution they used on the windows left a ton of residue, & whatever they used on the interior made the car smell disgusting. Unless of course the fabric was soiled & they neglected to tell me that. Anyways when I brought the car home I had to go in & deep clean pretty much every surface to try to get the smell out. It still reeks. EDIT: Turns out they did lie. Lifted up the seats and found filth underneath. Was also the source of the smell, I suspect it was animal waste. Sales guy told me it was the smell of the cleaning product they used. Deep cleaned beneath the seats and it STILL reeks. Before and after pics below for proof. Oh, & when they gave me the Carfax, there was an open recall that they neglected to tell me about until after I bought it. Now for the performance of the vehicle, this is where I start to get very concerned. When I drove it off the lot, it was unquestionably in worse condition than when I test drove it. The alignment was off, handling felt worse, & the brakes occasionally locked up after stopping at a traffic light. Now for the absolute worst part: after around a day and a half of driving, my brake light turns on. I check the master cylinder and it's completely empty. Look under the car and the brake line is leaking profusely. Pics below will show the progression of the leak from one push of the brake pedal to 3 hours later. It begs the question, what else did they lie to me about? Did this car even pass the safety check?! How many mistakes did their technicians make? I will be returning to the dealership on Monday to get this rectified, and if it is not rectified, I will be calling the MTO on the techs that prepared this vehicle and will be opening an OMVIC case against the dealership.
Reg spent a great amount of time trying to balance my needs against which used and new vehicles were available. The process was very friendly and it was obvious that he cared that I left with something that was as close to what I wanted as was feasible/reasonable/available. He followed up with me after I had purchased the vehicle to let me know when it was going to be ready for pick up. I had a couple of issues with the vehicle after receiving it but their service department was quick to have me return it same day to repair one item and schedule a fix for the other. All in all, a pleasant experience so far.
TRAN! He is the reason I am giving a 5 star review. Long story short- my husband loves cars, so every time we went to have our vehicle serviced, he would sneak to the sales side and spend the whole time talking to Tran, who would always spend time with him, showing him every single car, answering every imaginable question, even after warning him that he wasn't going to buy anything. His response always was "Don't worry, I can still take care of you, even if you don't buy anything." True to his word, every single time we went, he would greet us happily, and spend time showing my husband their newest toys. He was never pushy, nor would he hide from us- which honestly he had every reason to after years of doing the same thing. Finally, it was time to buy a car, and I could not imagine dealing with anyone other than Tran. The entire purchase felt like a friend was helping us through the process, and looking out for us. I am so happy with my vehicle, and again, Tran spent a good hour showing us how each new feature worked. He made us feel like we were the only customers he was taking care of, and made himself available if we forget anything or need help with the car any time. I can't recall anywhere else where I've received this level of care in a long time. My husband is already looking forward to trading in our second car! Thanks Tran!
Do yourselves a favor and avoid this location if you value transparency and a honest dealership. The salesmen in this dealership will not tell you about hidden fees in your purchase. For reference I am also in business and I have never experienced what I did at Hyundai on Hunt club . I leased a car in November 2019. I specifically asked prior to lease signing if there were any additional fees to buyout the vehicle and the salesman pointed to my lease contract please refer to image attached and said "what you see there is what you pay". Had they told me the truth before I signed, i would have gladly paid the extra. But imagine my surprise when I was told by another salesman 3 years later I have to pay an additional $699.99 "dealership processing fee" before the dealership will let me buy out my vehicle. In fact, the salesman only disclosed this $699.99 fee when I noticed the amount he wanted for me to buyout the vehicle far exceeded the lease contract calculated value. The punchline is all this info was written on a scrap piece of paper refer to attached image and not present on any official documentation whatsoever. I have called Hyundai Motor Finance Canada, Hyundai Motors Global and even spoke toOMVIC to which they all stated the same thing: any fees not specified in the contract does not have to be paid. Hyundai Motor Finance took the initiative and filed 2 complaints against the dealership and recommended I file a complaint against the dealership with the BBB. After speaking with OMVIC, they assured me they will be investigating this matter. Still on a later call, i was told by the same salesman that I was "out of luck, pay the fee or return the vehicle and be glad we are not charging $1000 like other dealerships". Take a look at the leasing contract photo attached and tell me if the "dealer fees" section specified the $700 fees or if it clearly states $0. It has now been 2 weeks since Hyundai Motor Finance Canada lodged 2 complaints, since I lodged a complaint with the BBB per HMF and since OMVIC started investigating this dealership. Still, nobody from the dealership has reached out to me to discuss the situation. I am not interested in speaking with customer service department to learn why the fees are necessary. I want my original contract honored for my vehicle buyout Please do your research on dealerships. Some dealerships are honest but not this one. See image attached for proof my contract stated dealership fees is $0. The scrap piece of paper is the only document they ever provided that had the $700 dealership fee show up and only explained to me when I pressed them for why the buyout price was higher than the contract’s contract’s residual value of vehicle at buyout $11,850.27 + $699.99 dealer fee x 1.13 tax = $14,181.8. Do you want to deal with this too?
Had a great experience buying my new car and trading in my old one with Reggie and Adam. They provided all the information needed, answered all my questions, and were extremely helpful with choosing my car model. Wait time was great too - expected it in April and got it in November instead. Definitely recommend this dealership!
I have looked at multiple dealerships and at multiple cars. I met with James and he listened and found me exactly what I needed. I highly recommend him as a knowledgeable professional and very kind. Also dealt with Adam and he was easy to understand and also very knowledgeable. It was a welcoming dealership to walk into.
Buying a car can seem stressful and difficult but our sales associate Kevin was fantastic! Although they’re incredibly busy this time of year, he answered all my questions, was incredibly flexible when scheduling whatever it was I needed, was very thorough in regards to safety inspections, etc and essentially just ensured the whole process ran as smoothly as possible. Beyond Kevin, the whole team was fantastic, would definitely recommend them for all your automative needs.
I contacted this dealer twice and both are bad experience from the same person. I will not contact them again. To be clear, I don't need to be treated as a VIP, no, not at all. But how about a little politeness and respect? Is that so hard? The inventory listed on their website are all sold units. Then what's the point of putting them there? And I don't think they are using them to attract customers, because I was told exactly this "they are sold units, OK? All new vehicles will be 3-5 months,OK?" And I was like "Oh, OK..." Then they hang up the call. I was like and I was planning to ask about the used car. For the 1st contact. I left my contact number on their website and then received a message from the sales man saying I could message or call or email him for ordering a car. So far so good. Then I replied to him, but got no reply. A few hours later I replied to another number he mentioned in the message and it's the same, no reply. I do need a car ASAP to survive this winter. But even if this dealer has any thing in stock, new or used. No, thanks.
I had an exceptional experience at the car dealership service department recently, and I have to give a shout out to Glenn and especially Mustapha, who went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. From the moment I walked in, this individual was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly professional. They listened to my concerns and provided practical solutions, making sure I understood every step of the process. The service was completed efficiently and to the highest standards. I was truly impressed by the level of customer service I received, and I would recommend this dealership to anyone in need of car services. Mustapha truly embodies the idea of outstanding customer service and deserves recognition for their hard work and dedication.
I purchased my Tucson at this location in 2016. Everything was amazing from the salesperson to the sales manager. Once I drove off the lot, my problems started and have continued. I purchased the extended warranty that included free oil changes. This was a huge part of the selling feature for me! I didn't get those because apparently they were only valid at that location and I had moved out of the area. Also, part of that agreement so I just found out from Hyundai Canada was I only had 30 days from it's expiry to claim the $1900 refund if I didn't use it. I have my entire file from my purchase and I only have a warranty certificate with no information on it. There is no warranty contract outlining the program or details because I was not provided a copy. despite requesting one on a couple of occasions. They are great to deal with until they have your money and you walk off the lot.
