I don’t know what chilli chicken or general was sent because there was zero difference in taste… only reason I knew which was the sesame was by the seeds. No clue how these guys are rated so highly. Last time we got it I thought maybe it was an off night… nope just really poor example of food. Will NEVER waste money here again. Only reason for a 3 star and not a 1 star is because the portion size was decent to the price and it came hot and quickly.
There food is garbanzo beans. I orderd general tao, with white rice, and sweet and sour chicken, and it was terrible. I've been eating here for 8 years now and there food sucks now. The food i got tasted plain and it also smelt. I remeber getting general tao and it smelt great and had lots of sauce on it, however this one did not. I feel pity to give them this rating but the games the game. I only ate the rice and the sweet and sour chicken but I later threw away the general tao because it was awful. What a waste of 13 dollars. IM MAD. I'd rather use my 13 dollars to by a broken barbie off kijiji than ever eatting that goofy food ever again. The general tao chicken could possibly be a mystery meat at this point because that ish was terrible. Maybe they cooked up a rat or something, fuk it. If anyone is reading this, DO NOT EAT THERE FOOD ANYMORE, IT'S WORSE THAN PRISON FOOD, SMH!
I order chili chicken. First time the chicken was extremely chewy. I could not even bring it down. It felt like they killed 100-year-old chicken and made the food out of it. I never throw the food away. First time ever in my life. I hate it through this in trash as it was so disgusting. Seriously looking at other people's comment, this guy should just close down and do something else
I have always loved ordering from this restaurant on Uber Eats. But the one time I went and purchased in-person, they sold me food that was completely burned see photo. Perhaps it’s because they know that Uber will refund the customer if there’s anything wrong with the food, but if the customer buys directly, they can get away with anything.
First time ordering, and our last time. Other than the portion size typical for Chinese take out we weren't impressed. 1/4 full peanut container for special pad Thai also bland, way too much celery in our almond/cashew chicken with very few actual nuts, general Tao was average at best, pineapple fried rice mediocre, spring rolls not store made at least didn't taste like it, all in all we should have checked the Google reviews prior to ordering on Uber rating of 4.6. Definitely not 4 star, maybe 2/5. It's too bad as it seems this place used to be pretty good based on older reviews.
I’m a regular at Hunan chinese restaurant. The sweet and sour chicken here is the best kind I’ve ever tasted. I’ve been to over 50 restaurants and none have been able to cook as well as this place. The customer service is amazing, I can always count on fast service and kind staff. 10/10 would recommend, would definitely be visiting again!
We ordered delivery and they sent chicken balls without the sweet and sour sauce. When we called them they were not willing to deliver what we paid for. I would not order from them again.
Food was good. Service was not as good as the food. But it was only 1 dude running the show, would definitely go again.
Portion size was good. But the food was tasteless. Ordered combo 5 S&S Pork, Chicken with String Beans, and Veg. Spring Roll. Never ordering again.
The food at Hunan is delicious, well priced and they have fast service, few parking spaces in the front but lots at No Frills.
