Reasonable price, I did enjoy the meal, will definitely be go back to try some other things. Edit..Went back and tried " Pepper Steak w/onion." They should rename the dish to "onions, Green Pepper and steak" The was very little steak mostly onions and green pepper. Flavor was not good Changed to 3 Star Disappointed!
Their lunch special says served with chicken fried rice. There’s literally no chicken and just plain fried rice. I called the restaurant to confirm and they said for the lunch special price they only put little bit of chicken? There’s absolutely none in here. They need to be transparent I could have ordered something else and not waste my time.
I haven’t been there for a couple of years. But we tried the menu again and I am very satisfied. I had a simple single dinner and I was so happy to find the rice and chow me in was not greasy at all. Hours later I still have no food repeating in me. The last place I had food from was so greasy I through most of it out. We also had curry shrimp with white rice a bit spicy but very good tasting. Also the hot and sour soup is one of the best I’ve had. We are very pleased and will be going back for more.
Went in with my gf to try it since we saw it had really good reviews, and the food was really good! The proportions were huge and the price was good! It’s really hard to find a good Chinese restaurant but I’m glad I found this place! I added a picture of my empty plate because It was so good I didn’t want to stop eating it but just know there was some good food there. My gf loves it and loved the wanton soup! My biggest complaint is that I ate the food too fast. Also they put a-lot of care in the way they packaged it, for example the trays were separated by cardboard squares to insulate the heat from other foods, so each tray retains their intended temperature. The food not only tasted great but it looked really good too. I recommend this place!
The food here is delicious, but it isn't always consistent in flavour and the wonton soup could really use some improvement. For me, the two items that will always stand out for me in a Chinese food restaurant are noodles and soup. Their noodles are tasty, but the soup just isn't quite there. The service is professional but they could use a personal touch and the decor needs a little sprucing up. Beyond that, if you're looking for a delicious meal to take home for the family, this is a great option.
This place is soo good it’s definitely the best Chinese restaurant in Whitby! Highly recommend!!
**EDIT: We called to confirm that the restaurant was open for dine in because that info on Google isn’t always correct. The owner makes it seem like we INSISTED on eating there despite the washroom not being available. Red flag.** How can you have a restaurant open for dine in but not allow patrons use of the washrooms? I’m surprised no one has called Public Health. The Ontario Food Premises Regulation states that food premises need to “provide washrooms in accordance with the Ontario Building Code. Food stores and food take-outs only require one washroom. Washrooms should be clean, sanitary and in good repair. Washrooms need to be available to the public at all times.”
Fast service for takeout. Ordered Singapore noodles $14 and change after tax. Enough for 2 portions, even if a main dish. Tasty! Shrimp was cooked perfectly.Food: 5/5
TERRIBLE customer service!! I called ahead and asked for something with no egg-- I spoke to someone so that there would be no confusion. When my order came, there was TONS of eggs in it lots of chunks. When I asked for a refund they told me they would not and they could only make me the same dish again. Said they would give it to me "free"-- it's not free, I already paid for that dish. What they gave me originally, I can't eat. It is SNOW STORMING outside, I had to drive already to go get it, I asked for something extra to make me whole and they flat out refused and told me I was not entitled to anything and that since I only ordered one thing they were not concerned about my customer experience. SO RUDE! By the end the guy was yelling at me over the phone. I am SHOCKED. Very bad service.
Food was good, but the kid working the front was really rude and made it seem like I was really bugging him by picking up my food. Also they changed their packaged sauces that are included with the meals and they're terrible compared to the old ones.
