Hotel Winneshiek

Went to a concert at Luther college and stayed a night here. The restaurant was fantastic. Loved the cream spinach that came with the ribeye. It was made fresh. So so good. Loved the hotel. Very charming. Had that feeling of another time. Just gorgeous all around. The bed was super comfy.

I visited the bar inside the restaurant, which was quite accommodating for the large group we had. Drink specials are a good deal and the location is very convenient for all of down town.

I spent 5 wonderful days here in 2 different rooms! The staff is absolutely perfect! Customer oriented and professional. Rooms were gorgeous and well kept. The restaurant and lounge inside served food and drinks that were top notch. I can understand why Presidents of the US have stayed here. It is a truly remarkable hotel!

Charming and interesting. great service. They remembered my nieces were crazy to see snow and asked about their experiences. The rooms are great, spacious and clean. walkable to the Decorah restaurants.

I never even stayed at the place. I only inquired and they still managed to sell my email address and phone. Now I keep getting emails about activities and businesses in decorah, and there is no unsubscribe option because every email is from a different sender. Also sold my phone number and I receive calls. If I was ever going to stay here, at a very minimum I would expect respect of my privacy. This place is a joke.
