Hotel Park Avenue

The first room they have its was next tho the maintenance room and smelled like smoke, it was cramped and generally not nice. Staff was great and upgraded us to another room which was great. Comfortable beds, decent location. Note that parking is a challenge, as it is in most cities, but fortunately we were able to score street parking without too much difficulty.

The stars say it all... My friend and I stayed at this hotel in 2016 summer and there was an opened condom wrapper in the drawer. There were also questionable yellow stains on the blanket. We had asked to have it replaced. The shower in the bathroom is incredibly small, your elbows will get stuck. The ONLY good thing about this place is its location. It is close to everything and there are lots of food places nearby! So if you are very low maintenance and need a place to crash just for the night this is it

You get what you pay for, but I atleast expected decent wifi. It was very slow. I don't usually write reviews. I just wanted to warn folks who want to work while at this hotel

I didn't even get to check in. I had called previously and was told a CC authorization form would be an acceptable form of payment. Later, a different lady was there and she yelled at me and kicked me out for trying to explain. I tried to reason with her and let her know that I still needed a place to stay and that my phone wasn't working and asked if I could use their wifi. She said yes but then as soon as I got off the phone she said I needed to leave or she'd be calling someone. When my dad called to clear things up, he was subjected to rude behavior for not knowing french. On top of it all, regardless of not seeing the room this place was filthy. There was grime on the base boards and it smelt of cigarettes meaning this place hasn't been cleaned in at least 10 years. Utterly disgusted by the staff and the place itself. Actually really glad I didn't stay. AmEx ended up booking me a hotel at Comfort Suites on Crescent Street (Rue Crescent). I highly reccoment spending the extra $40-60 to not only be in a clean hotel but to also have breakfast provided and a staff that cares about hospitality.

Smells horriable, we paid 820$ for 3 nights, the rooms look like a prision, smells like dirty carpet
