Trump and Le Pen supporters will enjoy the discussion with the owner. Others may want to abstain from having breakfast with him. Otherwise the b&b is in its price category. Large rooms, well heated, clean but simple. The bathroom could need an overhaul. Please note that there is an additional fee for leaving bags behind the last day after check out : 10CAD + tax

Breakfast was scarce. 1 egg, croissants were frozen then heated up. Manager is very nice. Old style bathroom, not an ensuite.

Simple breakfasts (fruit, hard boiled egg, tea/coffee, orange juice, and choice of carb (toast, bagel, croissant, chocolate croissant), nothing homemade. The bed was soft, but not excessively so. The pillows were quite flat, but four were provided. Lots of minor annoyances & damages (shower leaked, peeling paint on some walls & ceilings, lights in the overhead fan did not work, the windowblind didn't unroll). There wasn't any AC in the room itself (there was in the general house), but there was a ceiling fan, and a floor fan. The windows opened and provided a nice breeze, but they are old & original, without any screen (hint: night + light on = inquisitive bugs). Parking is behind the building, and is $10/day (if no one is there, it's still ok to park... when the attendant arrives, he will put a note on your windshield asking you to come see him & pay - he is very nice and polite). There is rear access, close to the parking lot, but it's via a narrow spiral staircase. Or you have a bit of a hike to the front door. Lots of dance/party spots around, but I always felt safe. Overall, I'd book again, but I'd look elsewhere first.
