Halal Hakka Chinese food. Got take out couple of times. Requested to make my order spicy, which they did very willingly. I ordered Beef with Mixed Vegetables. + Pretty quick + Tasty. Veggies were perfectly cooked. - Beef was a bit chewy

Not recommended. Clueless waitress who did not tell the cook how I wanted my food. I sent it back. The cook came out to yell at me for being difficult to please. He brought out a different menu to show me the "accurate" description of the dish. He would not listen or believe me when I said I had been given another version of the menu. I tried again. I requested a non-spicy soup with a clear broth, with chicken and vegetables. I got a red broth with egg and shrimp that was holy hell fire hot. It was a Saturday night and I was the only person in there. That should have been my huge warning. Avoid this place.

Such an amazing meal. Can't wait to try it again next time I'm in Scarborough. Highly recommended !

One of the best Hakka places I've been. Better than Lin Garden, Frederick and many of the other local places.

Hot Wok serves good Indian hakka Chinese food for the price and quantity. Owner is very friendly and nice. Halal meat is served here. No alcohol and no pork. Food is served very quick after placing order. Credit cards are not accpeted. Debit cards are accepted. 10% discount on pickup orders paid by cash. Good lunch specials.
