Not shopping here again. I usually opt for Kinlock or Montague because their staff is welcoming, especially Montague; while it is the opposite in Charlottetown. Saturday afternoon, March 7, I went in for a few things and to browse around for bits and bobs for different projects at home. The cashier's that day were lovely and welcoming. After passing them by I began going up and down the isles, looking at everything as I passed. At the end of the first isle, in the corner of my eye I noticed a white male employee standing at the end cap at the beginning of the isle looking at me. Didn't think much of it until I started up the next isle which had another customer and employee in it; and as I had passed them by, the same white male employee was standing at the end of that isle, looking in my direction. That in itself made me quite uncomfortable, because it gave me the impression that they thought I was trying to steal from the store. I greeted that white male employee once I had reached the end of the isle and carried on; he didn't ask me if I needed help finding anything. I realized then, that it was much easier to just ask the man to help me find what I was looking for to get the hell out of there. I treated that employee with respect and courtesy even though I didn't feel welcomed in his presence and promptly paid for my items Washer fluid and a digital light timer with the lovely cashier's and left as opposed to feeling like a thief while just browsing.

Easily the best of the hardware box stores to deal with. The staff are not only friendly but knowledgeable and actively engage with you to see if help is required. Contrast that with say Kent or Canadian Tire and you will see a massive difference.

Very pleasant to deal with and they match the price of another competitor without question.nI will definitely shop there again.
