The sales people were accommodating. There’s a wide array of furniture choices. A lot of designs in store to showcase specially beds, dining and sofas. Dining looks a bit flimsy though and prices were on higher end. I am not a 100% when it comes to quality but yeah, they charge quite a bit compared to it’s competitor in town. Even during boxing sale and prices were supposed to be less, I noticed that the price are still higher compared to other stores. The $800 for example only include headboard, footboard and side thingy of the bed, rails are missing that’s why it’s on sale. And the 1,300 one got some damage on the leather. You can find a less than 1,000 for brand new king bed with no damage and i think is even better design and quality during boxing day at least Overall, good place to check specially if you have a specific furniture design in mind and is willing to splurge a bit to get your ideal design.
It’s a big and massive store with most of them friendly and helpful sale person Ryan was so helpful. Unfortunately two of the dining table chair delivered as damaged but they took all 6 of them returned the full amount.and the king bed we ordered didn’t turn up on time. Sectional we requested and paid for wooden leg instead of steel it came with steel leg and it’s there we started adjusting with that.
ALL SALES FINAL absolutely no returns - wish they told me that when I bought this Samsung over the range microwave. I got a dud that only worked for a short time and tried to take it back to the store for an exchange or refund. No help, no apologies and zero sympathy from the sales staff or floor manager, just "all sales final, you have to deal with the manufacturer". I get that if it was past 30 days, most places only have a 30 day return policy, but it has only been 17 days. After arguing with me for 10 minutes I left and will never return. Wish I could leave zero stars. Buyer beware.
Leon’s Service Manager Jen has cost them thousands of dollars worth of business. She is rude, condescending and has no desire to help the customer. I have never been treated so badly in all of my life. Worst customer service I have ever received to the point I had to create a google account just to post this! Never again will I dawn the doors, in fact, I’ll pay more at The Brick just out of spite! Never recommended.
I bought a microwave there and first thought it was odd they opened the microwave and used them as floor models but they had one still in the box but I bought it. It worked for 7 days then would only heat the food randomly and then it stopped heating at all. I brought back to Leons to exchange for a new one and was very surprised to learn that they have an all sales final policy and all appliance regardless of how long you have them have to be dealt with through the manufacture. I was not informed this at the time of sale and I was very shocked. When I called Samsung they informed me that Leons should have filled out a form and submitted it to them to allow me to get an exchange. No one at Leons told me or even offered this to me. Very poor customer services from both Samsung and Leons. Neither wants to stand behind their products they make or sell.
Will never deal with them again. Been dealing with them the last 12 years. Bought multiple appliances, living room sets and bedroom sets. Then just today had them take 3 appliances to my mums and she had to cry to get them to take the old fridge out. And to top it off they would not even put the new fridge into place.
Love my sofa and rug for m Leons, this is a parent to the Brick but a far better experience!
If I could I would give them 0 rating. Very unprofessional. Specifically the manager. The way she talks is super rude. I had previous experience from Leon’s but this location is horrible. The hiring team should do a better job on hiring top level leaders or provide them some training how to deal with customers.
This is the chair I bought from Leon's in Charlottetown on May 8, 2021. They were to deliver the chair to my place on the 18th. The chair did not arrive. It finally arrived on the 25th. The chair arrived damaged. The mechanism was damaged and it moved from side to side. I thought I would fall out of it. I called the store immediately and talked to the service manager, Jen Robertson. . She asked can I proved that the store damaged it. She blamed me for damaging. I said I wanted it replaced and she said I only bought a service warranty. Th service people came on Sunday more than an hour late. They improved the chair. The above videos are after repair. I said it is not repaired and they told me to call the service manage the next day. I called her on Monday and her first words were her workers told her the chair is fixed. She would not believe me that it wasn't, even with pictures. On Friday 4Jun21 I called store wanting to return it and they said they don't take returns. I then talked to the Assistant manager and sent the above videos to her. 2 days later I was told they would pick up the chair on Tuesday 8Jun21 and return my money, 1 month after this ordeal began. I will never buy anything from Leon's again.
Great place to shop for furniture and bedding needs. Homey and warm feeling. Staff friendly and ready to serve.
