Shocked by the horrible prices at this location. $8.99 for a handful of dirty gross croc jibbits. 2.99 for an empty candle jar and 2.99 for an expired soda stream bottle that has potential to blow up in your face. Not impressed at all. Value village gets these items for free then rips people off. Very sad to see.
Items has higher price compared to mission. If you find a cheap find here its gonna be dirty or wornout. But if you chose a pretty good piece its gonna be higher price. Still a good shop cuz of the wide range of items.
I used to love Value Village, and I've held on for a long time over their various changes. I'm not really sure what's going on with Value Village anymore. The prices are all over the place and too expensive for secondhand. They also make it incredibly awkward to leave if you haven't purchased anything You have to walk around the corral of people waiting in line to pay.nI think I speak for all of us by saying we want the changing rooms back, as I'm always seeing people try the stuff on in the aisles regardless, which often creates a spacing issue. I am also finding that the quality in which things are being resold is also bizarre to me.
What a horrible shopping experience. I felt as if employees were watching us like a hawk! To factor in these absolutely absurd prices, having a security guard doing laps, never having anything other than self-checkout open, sitting by the jewelry waiting for a staff to notice me for 10 minutes, I can officially say this whole establishment is a joke. Charging $6 for a dirty dollarstore candle? I genuinely think that should be a crime.
So unbelievably bad. They've actually started charging more for stuff used then it is new to buy. Don't even waste your time if you enjoy thrifting and finding deals. Value village isn't a thrift store anymore.
