Holiday Inn Express & Suites White River Junction

Roberta does a fantastic job with breakfast. She keeps everything well supplied and interacts well with the guests. She treats my 90 year old Dad and me like family. It is always a pleasure to stay at this HIE property. The front desk staff is friendly and also is good about providing plenty of those delicious chocolate chip cookies. The underground parking is perfect for Vermont winter storms!

We had a great experience at this property. I was traveling with my elderly inlaws and to make sure we were in rooms next to each other, they upgraded one of our rooms to a Suite. Staff were extremely helpful. Hotel is very comfortable and conveniently located. I highly recommend this property.

I do enjoy staying here. It's clean and up to date. However, they need to get away from the motion sensor thermostat. Or at the very least have it so it doesn't shut the air conditioning off after you fall asleep. I woke up both nights in a row because my room temp shot up to 75 degrees. This is a hotel. Not a house being heated with wood. I shouldn't have to open the windows in the middle of the night!

Clean, modern rooms. Continental breakfast could do with a bit of TLC. The bagels we're hard as if air passed through it for some time. Fruit was good as well as tea and coffee as expected. Very pleasant staff, from Front Desk Clerk, to Manager, to Housekeeper. They were all approachable and answered questions I had on the area.

Breakfast was great! Lots of choices. Only wish there was more room for seating. We had to sit by the entrance and it was 0 degrees outside. There are a lot of plug ins and USB ports throughout the room. We got upgraded to a king suite with a kitchenette. Came in handy actually! Bathroom does not have a fan and the water was cold in the shower. Internet and TV channels were good along with the size of the room altogether. The hotel has a parking garage underneath and you can take the elevator up making the elevator very cold and you also need a key for it! We had to find the stairs when we arrived to get to the main lobby level.
