I have had experience with Pierce's on a number of occasions, from a few different perspectives. First, I have been to many of the events, which have been great experiences. Food, service, setting, and talent brought in make these events something I look forward to and am disappointed if I miss. From an events perspective, we have had many work functions there that have gone extremely well. Many of our colleagues who have hosted events, continue to go back and set up what they can there because of the positive experiences they've had. For many of the same reasons as above for the events, having any function at the Inn is recommended. The food is always top notch and the interactions with the owners and staff always has me walking away thinking why can't every place be this good. Setting is beautiful and function rooms though not fancy, are very comfortable and breathe New England. I feel comfortable bringing anyone from Executive level on down to an event here. Not just me - others from our company have chosen to serially host events only at Pierce's and I have never heard a negative comment from any host or guest. Location is great, with easy access to town of Hanover and local ski areas, and there is great running / biking right out the door. I look forward to any event to either attend or that I can host there, in any season.

I've planned 3 large academic events (~40 people, mostly overnight guests) at Pierce's for three consecutive years. Our group is comprised of visual and sound artists and researchers. We tend to make a bit of noise during our program. Bruce and Cindy have always been incredibly accommodating to our group, whether it's making sure we have all of the resources and equipment necessary to smoothly run our program or ensuring that every person's dietary constraints are met.
The grounds of Pierce's Inn are gorgeous. We book our event during Fall foliage season, but I'm sure it's beautiful year round. The kitchen prepares delicious fresh food, snacks, and desserts. There's always seltzer and fresh coffee to keep our guests hydrated and caffeinated. The ping pong table is a nice touch. We recently completed our third annual event and I'm convinced that the success of our workshop is largely related to the venue.

I'm a member of two organizations, Ford Sayre (non-profit) and Hypertherm Inc., that use Pierce's Inn regularly for functions. It's a great spot out in the woods with a casual vibe, no stress, no pretense. It's comfortable, like being in your best friend's house, with friendly hosts, cool old photos on the walls, a great big fireplace - and of course a ping pong table to take on your colleagues. There are other options if you're looking for fancy, but if you're looking for casual, comfortable and fun, this is the place.

We have used Pierce's Inn for over 10 years as the perfect setting for long-weekend workshops for ASL interpreters. Our groups usually number around 20. The cozy living room with giant fireplace is the space where we gather. Participants enjoy the comfortable nature of the Inn, the delicious and plentiful food, and the rural setting. Cindy and Bruce are flexible, attentive and easy to work with.

I have attended several functions at Pierce's Inn, and have never had a negative experience. The staff, meal and event was always run perfect and exactly what i was there for, and always a very positive experience. Would forever consider them to host other events, and would never be concerned about attending an event there.
