The Holiday Inn Express and Suites Comox Valley is the newest property in the Courtenay/ Comox area with the Comox Valley's only in-hotel waterslide.

Our convenient location on Cliffe Avenue is ideal for corporate guests. This hotel delivers on everything it promises, obviously it's not a 5 star hotel, but it is excellent at what it does. The rooms are always clean, the suites come with the dishes you need, a coffee machine and a fridge. The bathroom has makeup wipes, multiple soap bars and moisturizers, plus the showers all have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There's also always ample towels and face cloths.nnThe staff are all super helpful and kind. I stay here frequently for work and am totally happy with it!
We stayed here this week with our kiddos for a fun spring break event. The first thing I encountered was an older front desk man who was incredibly unpleasant. He was condescending and rude when I mentioned we had received a discount on their website and he was dismissive and disrespectful to the other staff. It was off-putting. Even our children commented on his attitude. The pool was fun although incredibly loud - all the adults in the hot tub were talking about it. So loud we had to yell at each other to talk - due to motors etc, not due to people in the pool. The room was clean and lovely, no complaints there. The hot breakfast would have been decent but they were out of everything. I had to go to the kitchen to ask for coffee, cream and milk. The hot foods were not regularly replenished, so my kids just had toast and cereal which was disappointing. If I was the manager of this hotel I would fire the rude older front desk man as he was the one thing that continually put a bad taste in our mouth with every encounter. I would return if he wasn't there. If I had to deal with him again, I'd rather stay elsewhere.
The customer service is really good. It’s definitely where they excel the most. You feel welcome here. The pool is nice. It’s close to everything downtown Courtenay. I love that they offer breakfast as well. It makes the trip a lot easier.
This hotel is so amazing, we went there for my daughter fourth birthday and the rooms were so clean, front desk ladies were so nice and professional, helpful. The pool and hot tub a lots of fun. We loved this place so much and definitely recommend and coming back for sure
Loved this hotel! Friendly staff, prices were decent, hot breakfast was so nice! Stayed in the jacuzzi room, layout and decor very nice and new and housekeeping does an amazing job cleaning They allowed an early check in as well which was so handy. Really nice pool and hot tub and location is perfect for shopping and food. Recommend Whistle Stop pub or Ace brewing within a short walking distance on a beautiful paved trail.
