The front desk lady was absolutely amazing! I had booked over the phone at toll free number. I had told the guy on the phone I needed connecting rooms. When I came to check in the lady informed me no note was made, she was so kind and she fixed the issue no problem and even got me a better rate on the room. We got a 2 queen room and a single queen room adjoining each other. The rooms both were very clean and spacious. The bathroom we had a walk in shower and found water pressure could be a little stronger, but the shower and bathroom were both clean. I also really liked how they use all dove products in theirs bathrooms in a big bottle with pump not like the tiny ones that are only good for 1 person. The pool and hot tub were nice, they have tables and chairs in a sitting area for people who don't feel like getting in. The hot tub was warm but the jets weren't all that strong. We stayed here during a very busy time with bon soo and all the tournaments going on so it was pretty busy in the pool which I didn't mind all the kids having fun. Breakfast was delicious for a hotel breakfast with lots of variety and they did an excellent job keeping it stocked up considering how busy it was. I will definitely be staying here again though my next visit i will book straight through the hotel front desk. The location is also perfect as if your looking for shopping it's right across from the mall.
We had a wonderful time at our stay this past weekend. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable and the recommendations from Jaime the night manager for local nightlife and restaurants were spot on. The breakfast area was clean and neat, the food was warm and fresh and the coffee piping hot!
My stay has been amazing rhe staff is world class friendly, they introduce themselves offer help in any capacity. The facility is clean. Including the pool and workout area. My room was devine. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. I will never stay anywhere else when booking for work or pleasure. This location should be a flag ship for training. Truly an amazing rejuvenating stay. I highly recommend to professionals and family stays.
We had a wonderful experience from check in, the comfy beds, yummy breakfast buffet, clean sauna and pool,to check out. Jaime, the manager, made us feel like we were welcomed home for the night.She also gave amazing local recommendations for checking out the town. Would definitely go back!
This was the first of 3 Holiday Inn Express stops during our cross country drive. Thunder Bay and Winnipeg Polo Park were the other 2. See my reviews for those.nnOf the 3, this Holiday Inn was the cleanest, newest and with the most spacious in rooms and bathroom. The hallways were clean, bathrooms big. Unfortunately we travelled during Christmas and their continental breakfast was closed. The gym was also poorly furnished compared to the 3. I reduced my rating because of those things. Travellers regardless of schedule, are often challenged for food and rest after a lengthy trip and working out is important for some people. It would have been nice to have a food option before we continued our journey. Regardless, I would still recommend this location for your travels.
