Comfort Inn

Our stay was exactly as expected: very clean and well-maintained room, comfortable bed and linens and friendly staff. My husband and I had our mountain bikes with us and booked a ground level floor with the intention of bringing our bikes into our room for safety overnight. Upon check-in, the manager actually recommended bringing our bikes into our room as well, so that was great we didn't feel we needed to be sneaky about it! Will absolutely keep this hotel in mind the next time we're coming through.

The most important thing in a hotel is the bed. Ours was comfy, but it squeaked, keeping us awake most of the night.nFirst time in a Comfort Inn hotel, and we weren't expecting much as it is not our usual choice, but all other hotels were sold out.nOverall, it wasn't bad. Bigger room than we expected, the bathroom about what we expected, and the bed was super comfy,nBut the bed squeaked, which kept us awake most of the night.nThe walls were super thin; we heard TV., coughing and talking in the next room.

Rude lady checking in!!! Should have stayed home. You lose clients when dumb employees like that pushes customers away to other hotels... we stayed only 1 night and checked in for the rest of the week at the Super eight not far. Will not be back. Plenty of choices in the Sault and working for a class 1 railroad we get good rates with other brands. Your loss because of 1 lazy staff.nPS. They will probably make excuses like in every other answered reviews.

Location was excellent, you can walk to several restaurants or grocery store across the parking lot. It was very convenient. However, the service was not great, the AC was loud and weak. There was no elevator and if you book via hotels.com or other 3rd party web site, please reach out to the hotel because it was advertised as pet friendly hotel but they don't list pet friendly room as option. When you book, they may not have pet-friendly room available for you.

Basic motel. Pros are that it is pet-friendly and allows cats. The sliding doors made for easy access for bringing the cats into the room. It was clean enough for a one-night stay. Cons are that it is quite dated and has a weird cigarette-like smell.
