I would give negative stars if I could. There was a shower curtain used as a regular window curtain. There were brown stains on the bottom that I'm pretty sure of were human feces. There was no pillow cases and the pillows were stained. There was dirty smudges all over the walls. I'm pretty sure the rooms are never cleaned, the beds are just made. I'm not usually a super picky person but it was so disgusting I had to just leave, after driving 12 hours straight at 1 am. I was so tired but I could not stomach it. I had a feeling there were bed bugs and after reading the recent reviews, I am so glad we left. They are refusing to give a refund even though we did not stay because it was so gross!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE
Had to wait almost 15 minutes for the owner when we arrived.nnWhen we got into the room it was absolutely disgusting, and evidently had not been cleaned in a long time. There were cigarette burns on the bedsheets, and a hole in the wall by the door.nnThere was mold, mildew and dust on almost every surface, and there were no towels.nnThe locks were clearly shoddily fixed, and the key barely worked. Did not feel secure leaving our stuff there.nnThe washroom fan was clearly broken and made an unbelievably loud grinding noise when it was turned on.nnAfter about 15 minutes, we decided it wasn't worth it and drove over to the Super 8 down the road, which was only about $30 more and was not only clean and easily accessible, but also included breakfast.nnIn short, stay literally anywhere else.
I recently stayed at Bel-Air Motel and had a great experience. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, which set the tone for a great stay. The staff were incredibly accommodating, making sure all my needs were met.nnWhat really stood out was their honesty and helpfulness. I forgot my passport and other important documents behind and they shipped them all back to me! There are a few questionable looking people who walk in and out of their rooms, but they don’t bother anybody. If you’re looking for a night or two to stay, I’d say you’re looking in the right place!
Dirty, smelly room. Hygiene protocol not maintained. Premises full of drunk and suspicious people. Safety & security was a big concern here as the lock of room was not working properly. They don't even provide basic stuffs like toilet paper, bath towel, hair dryer etc. Extremely dirty room with mosquitos & bed bug all over.
Absolutely awful, do yourself a favor and don't stay here, if the price looks appealing, I wouldn't even spend 20$ for a stay here. The first thing I noticed when I got to my room was that my door didn't even properly close, I had to push my full weight against the door to close and lock it, otherwise it would just gently push right open. A room beside one of my co-workers got broken into the night we stayed there. The rooms are disgusting, looked like mine hadn't been cleaned in ages, maybe some other rooms are nicer and newer but the ones we got attached to the main building were awful. The floor was sticky, the couches in my room were stained and falling apart, old open and eaten snacks from JUNE were still in the mini-fridge, never cleaned out.nnThe hanging rack on the wall was loose and hanging out of the wall. The only garbage can in my room was crusty and had no bag in it. It still had the Dollarama sticker left on the front of it. Some of my other coworkers didn't get a garbage bin at all. Some rooms didn't have mini-fridges and some were without microwaves. The microwave in my room looked like something had exploded in it, black char marks were on every side of it.nnThe shower was disgusting, I'm fairly certain there was either mold or mildew in it as well. The tap in the bath wouldn't stop running, and there's visible stains on the floor of the tub where you can tell it's been leaking for years. The bathroom roof was also stained and marked from years of grime building up on it.nnThe blankets and bedding were stained, dirty, and full of burns from cigarettes. I think one of the beds in my room wasn't even cleaned, just remade and then left there. Bugs were flying around the room while I stayed there.nnTo top it all off, there was a clear as day blood splatter on the wall near the beds. The Wifi was switching off and on all night, had to use my data for most of the stay.nnThis place was nasty and disgusting, it is honestly, in my opinion, some kind of health hazard. Rooms were booked for me and my co-workers here due to scheduling issues, and honestly, I would've felt cleaner and better sleeping in our work vehicle. Don't go here, find somewhere else and save yourself the trouble.
