Holiday Inn Express Mackinaw City

The proximity to the key locations was a major plus for me. Being a photographer, I needed to get to places quick and this location is perfect. The Mackinaw bridge is maybe a block away along with the fort the same distance. Also if you do need to cross the bridge, it's a very easy to get on the highway. Breakfast was also great. For a continental breakfast sometimes it can either hit if miss. This definitely was a hit and plenty of things to choose from. Definitely will be back again

Nice place and good if you're looking for affordable accommodation. It's a holiday town so don't expect lot of activities in off seasons. Plan vacation as per seasons. Close you the island but in winter it's pretty dull as the lake is frozen.

Stayed here 3-4 times over as many years. Rooms are always clean, staff is always super friendly. Pool area is nice, hot tub has always been working and very warm. Also a working sauna in the pool area. Chlorine (like most hotel pools) is very strong. Breakfast is great offering eggs, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, breads and cinnamon rolls, cold cereal and oatmeal. At night they also have bottled water, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and cookies! Like other reviews state you can definitely hear road noise because the hotel is right next to the highway. For the price this is a great hotel, definitely recommend.

Staff was very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was great. Rooms were nice and updated. Kids loved the pool. We would stay here again.

Great place to stay. I usually go there first if they have rooms. Very accommodating. Nice stay.
