Story

Maintaining a stable weight after dieting often requires changes to your lifestyle habits. This is why Ideal Protein strongly emphasizes education and understanding. You must learn to eat “smarter” or risk regaining your lost weight. Therefore, when you begin our program we become your personal weight loss coach. We will assist you through each of the 4 phases of the Ideal Protein method. In phases 1 & 2 we will help you set your weight loss goals and support you on that journey. In phases 3 & 4 we shift focus to weight stabilization and post diet living, teaching you weight maintenance habits that may assist you in keeping the excess pounds off after dieting.

My wife and I are both Ideal Protein clients at another local IP clinic who just happens have run out of one of our favourite products, unrestricted Chocolate Soy Puffs so we went to Hogan hoping they might have some in stock.  When we asked the woman behind he counter she went to check and came out with two boxes (one for each) then proceeded to whisper something to a co-worker.  When she was done she said that they could only sell us one box since we were not members there.  We were totally fine with this as we understand most IP clinics only permit IP members from other clinics to buy one or two boxes.  When we went to pay we quickly discovered that they meant they would only sell us one box between the two of us.  We reiterated to them that we are both IP clients and if they wanted to confirm this fact they could feel free to contact our clinic.  They said that their policy is to only sell one box to people who are not their clients.  I tried to explain to them that we are infact two separate people both of whom are IP clients elsewhere and that we should each be allowed to purchase a box.  An older gentleman behind he counter chimed in with "that it's our policy and we don't understand" to which we replied their policy didn't make any sense for the reason I just stated.  One of the staff then chimed in that some Becky person will be very upset if they sell us two.  It became apparent that their ridiculous and inflexible policies come ahead of both common sense and customer service.   I will never in my life give Hogan Pharmacy so much as one cent of my hard earned money.  I would not recommend them to anyone.
