Wow! This was SO MUCH nicer and not as expensive as I expected. Had a great meeting here and I'm looking forward to coming back for the full conference! :-)
Also: watch out for all the cyclists on Route 9W! It's a narrow road with very little shoulder and there are a ton of cyclists.

The hotel itself is located in the middle of a huge garden/woods, so it is full with plants and trees that make it so peaceful and relaxing. There is a trail as well around the hotel and a small, lovely lake. The building is huge, and very well equipped. There was a little bit of delay so we only could occupy our room like half an hour later but it was ok. The room looked to the trees, we had a gorgeous view! The room wasn’t that big but enough for 2 people, although the bed was very soft and not too comfy and the bathroom wasn’t the most convenient either. The building needs a little bit of ‘face-lifting’ but the staff and all the amenities make up for this: we could play pool and basket ball (and a few other stuff) for free which was awesome. The gym’s equipment is quite old and rusty but it could be used. The breakfast was excellent! Many different fruits, cereals, pastries, fresh omelet/eggs, waffle, etc. Too many choices! :) The staff is very kind and helpful, especially Krystal at the front desk. I would say it is a perfect hotel for a few nights for people like us who want to run away from the hustle and bustle of the city! Totally recommended.

I was here for three weeks for a work training event. HNA Palisades is remote and more accessible by car, though the hotel offers a shuttle service to the nearest bus stop to go into the city. The staff is friendly and the accommodations are in line with other three star hotels. The food is decent for a short stay but for a three week stay, variety had room for improvement. Heating is not strong and if coming for an event in the winter, I would recommend dressing warmly. The only real complaint I have is that my room was not regularly restocked with body lotion despite raising this to the front desk several times.

The grounds are lovely. There is much to do on the grounds during your time here. The breakfast was pretty good. Most of the staff are polite. I did have one bad experience with the cook today. She was a bit rude. It left a bad taste in my mouth. However, the amenities that are available are more than most hotels. There is basketball, raquetball, swimming pool, gym, a bar, pool tables, dining area with outside seating, and a light hike trail. If you decide to take a drive there are stores and a mall very close by.

The grounds are gorgeous. There is a helipad so easy access from NYC. Some of the boardrooms have no windows so it feels like Vegas where you lose track of time. The breakaway stations are a nice addition. They have a serious carpenter ant issue. The fruit platters on day 1 had ants and the boardroom for 3 days had ants. The food options are good but poorly executed. All staffers were helpful and friendly. They have plans to update so I'm hopeful...
