Howard Johnson Inn Suffern

Its a decent hotel. The rooms were clean, enough space to move around. However the bathrooms should be next for renovations. The staff is friendly. I wouldn't have a problem staying again. O one more thing the breakfast, it could be better.

Clean place. Comfortable beds. Nice quiet room on the back side of building. Knob off of sunlamp on bathroom. TV didn't work. Lots of pillows offered. Room temp comfortable. Hot breakfast of eggs, sausage and waffles offered as well as cold breakfast items. Plently of hot water for shower. Matrix shampoo & conditioner offered. Plenty of close parking with ample lighting at night time. Closet door broken. Fridge didn't seem cold enough.

Staff is great, rooms are okay, bathrooms need an overhaul particularly the shower water pressure. Breakfast is edible but not something that I was particularly sold on. It gets the job done, decent hotel but not a "vacation" getaway spot by any means.

Its good if you're staying locally for a night or two. Nice location, close to the freeway and food/gas. Rooms are well stocked, there's complementary coffee and vending machines. The hotel itself smells a little smokey but it's not much of an issue. It's alright.

It’s not bad, but it’s also not good either. Strands of hair were found on the sheets, water pressure in the shower was iffy, rooms are quite small, staff was alright. Had a few weird experiences with some people staying there, but the plus side is that it’s near all sorts of things. If you’re going to be traveling and just need a bed to sleep on at night, this place is a definitely a good option. (It’s also cheap!)
