Michelle literally saved the day! She was able to create a beautiful and delicious cake on a very short notice for our son's very small family wedding celebration. I also really appreciate Michelle's pleasant phone manners.

I was referred to Hillcrest by another bakery when I needed a cake for my parents’ 50th Anniversary party. I was late in ordering but they fit us in with only 2 weeks’ notice and made a wonderful replica of the original wedding cake albeit for a much smaller crowd. The ordering process was extraordinarily smooth - I live out of state and did everything via email and phone. They delivered and set up the cake at the restaurant perfectly. Our guests all enjoyed the cake. Thank you Hillcrest!

We got a lemon meringue pie from hillcrest which has been our first experience eating from hillcrest bakery and they did not disappoint! 2 of us ate the entire pie in 2 days and it only lasted to the second day because we were too sad to have it be gone in 1 day. Based on this experience i can only imagine that everything they make is good!

I've been going here since I was a little kid. Every year of my life literally my family gets a smorgasbord of goodies here for Christmas and I have never had better quality from any bakery. Out of this world donuts, their sausage pastries, just wow. I give this establishment 10/5 honestly. Thanks for decades of beautiful work Hillcrest Bakery! Keep it going for generations to come...

I had ordered a race car themed cake and despite providing pictures of what I wanted the cake to look like, and getting an email confirmation of exact details such as piping around the border, color scheme etc, the bakery produced a cake that was not at all like the cake I ordered. They were unapologetic and said if I want a refund I could not take the cake, which I needed for the kid’s birthday! It was an awful service and treatment and just because I had no other option but to take the cake with me for the party in a couple of hours, I paid over $200 for the double tier cake. I would not recommend this bakery at all for anyone who needs a custom made cake.

Amazing donuts and cakes. Must visit if you are in the area. The donuts are fresh and fluffy. If you are new to some of the flavors like me you must try the maple topped ones for sure.

I found Hillcrest bakery online and ordered a cake for my sister’s virtual baby shower. It was amazing! The future mom to be loved it! And everyone said it was delicious too it looked that way — I was sad I couldn’t taste it myself!. Ordering from afar was also a breeze and they were able to turn it in a pinch. They were very helpful and helped guide me through how to decorate the cake. Now my sister and brother in law have a favorite bakery in town my BIL picked up some extra pastries were there too which were also a hit.

Although I have lived about 20mins or less from her most of my life, I don't spend much time in downtown Bothell or feel compelled to go to Bothell often...Until now I have been to this bakery many years ago. It's definitely been updated inside and it's old world cozy while also being gorgeous I took my kids here for a treat about 11:30am. I got the cheese danish pastry portion was somewhat similar to kringle and the cream cheese center was perfectly glazed over and so delicious & fresh If I didn't suffer so much by eating sugar and no, I'm not diabetic I would have bought two just for me! One of my son's got a giant cream cheese-frosted cinnamon roll contains a modest amount of raisens. He really liked it but picked out the raisens My other son got a raised donut that was covered in frostine, patriotic sprinkles AND *wait for it* a big chocolate frosting embellished center top...it turned out to be too much, as I expected And he felt compelled to ask his brother to eat some of his chocolate frosting, at which point, everything was perfect! We enjoyed our pasteries in the bakery at one of their cute little tables. Staff was friendly/helpful and there were so many options to choose from. They do have a seasonal cake donut: apple, or pumpkin, were the flavors I heard about for that. The had some specialty cupcakes that looked like a grill with food on it! The also had some rather decadent looking bars that were topped with a large fleck of gold leaf Such a nice touch of you want to impress someone I paid cash. Didn't see a bathroom. The place is pretty small. Walked across the street, after parking in gravel park in ng by Baskin n Robbins. They have coffee too! Well be back!

I had an awful experience with this bakery. I placed an order for two dozen decorated sugar cookies and when I went to pick them up, they made a mistake and gave me unfrosted. They apologized and thankfully had plenty of decorated cookies in the case to provide, but proceeded to charge me an extra $22 dollars for the price difference, on top of the $44 I had already spent, which was outrageous enough for cut outs that cost cents to make! When I said that I should not have to pay additional for a mistake, the young girl at the counter was courteous enough to say that she tried to ask for the charge to be waived, but the lady in back assuming the owner would not allow it. I was appalled at the lack of customer service! I would never charge a customer additional money when I had made a mistake. Any good business knows that you do what it takes to make things right and keep customers happy. I was beyond disappointed in my experience with Hillcrest Bakery.

Great local bakery that's been around for over 50 years. You can pick up small cake pops on the go, or order a wedding cake. This place has a little of everything and you can trust theyll put some local love in whatever you get.
