Chez Grand Pere Bakery

My mom and I came early Saturday morning but we were too early so we went back to her house. When we came a few hours later, it was open! We claimed the couch and chair by the fire. The service was fast and very friendly! The coffee was hot and the pastries fresh and flaky. There was bread available which my mom said isn't always available. A good experience, I recommend Chez Grand Pere if you are ever the area.

This place is amazing! It's like being 8000 miles away at a cafe in the old country. The pastries here are among the best I've ever had. Both sweet and savory options are available and none disappoint. Coffee and tea are also available and make a truly pleasant start to the day. Be sure to arrive early for the beat selection!

This is the most friendly place i have been in years. And the goodies are to die for. There bread is the best too..the croissants are the best i have ever had. Including the French bakery i went to in ARIZONA many years ago. I had been trying to find some that tasted that good. Well i found them at Grand Pere Bakery!

This review is about the baked goods. While the portions are large the pastries are extremely sweet to the point I couldn’t even eat my almond croissant. I feel as though all the amazing reviews lead to having high expectations, only to be disappointed. Definitely not French! Also, no savory croissants!? But whyyyy!? I live for a ham and cheese croissant. And very small selection of pastries..

Service was good, the lady working the counter was nice and had a great conversation with my 5 year old, it was clean with plenty of seating, parking was ample. I have only been the one time but I literally had a dream about the almond croissants and have been craving to go back and get them again. The cinnamon sticks are awesome too.
