A B & B conveniently located just above the beautiful Skagit Valley in Mount Vernon, WA, Highland Garden House Bed and Breakfast offers private rooms for travelers and visitors needing lodging at reasonable prices. Our two 2nd floor rooms have great views and the stucco and plaster construction of this house, built in 1930, ensure a quiet and restful retreat.
We do not attempt to appeal to everyone, but Highland Garden House might be just what YOU are looking for.

I love the Highland Garden House neighborhood. It's a great place to walk and so convenient to downtown's pubs and restaurants. The rooms are cozy; breakfast is relaxed and home-cooked nutritious; and Dennis, HGH's host, has lived in the area for years and has great suggestions for "things to do and see".

Highland Garden House is a unique experience in the Bed and Breakfast industry.  They are NOT luxury, but give the best value for the money that you will ever find.  Looking for a place to stay in Skagit County?  You could not go wrong by staying there.  Check out their web site for more details.
