Days Inn Mt. Vernon

We stay here several times a year to visit grandkids. Best rooms are available through Wyndham rather that second hand booking sites. Clean and comfortable. Not fancy.

Not very private, felt like the cleaning staff were pretty intrusive and you had to let them in every day. This was not there fault though since I saw the lady Chinese manager yelling a her one day telling her she HAD to give me room service. Jesus Christ I really don’t need or want room service EVERYday. Other then that the beds were comfy. Tv didn’t have half the channels, the bathrooms are small and the door to the bathroom opens inwards so I was glad I wasn’t a bigger person since I’m 135lbs and had no space as it is. i switched over to Arlington motel which is 12 min away from mount Vernon, it’s cheap, nice and people leave you alone.

Clean rooms, big bouncy beds, clean bathrooms. Its a decent hotel for decent price... But Nuthin to write home about.

Good location but otherwise unimpressive.” Room smelled strong cigarette smoke, even though it was supposed to be a non smoking room. Heater is loud Entrance door in the hallway, right next to the room is being slammed loudly at all hours or the day and night. Breakfast was bland at best. Location is central.
