Hideaway Suites Bed and Breakfast

I found Hideaway on a google search and what an amazing experience it was; from the ease of close by parking and from the moment you arrive... with it's inviting walkway, you instantly feel unplugged. It is easily a 4 star property, and that is from an Event Planner that has stayed all over the world. It has a charming breakfast nook and well appointed rooms. They gladly added food to their menu for me that was lactose free and diabetic friendly, and Edna & Joe are the kindest, sweetest hosts one could ever hope for. This is my go to place for R & R!!!

Wow. Another extraordinary stay at Hideaway. It's been years of enjoyment and they keep getting better and better. Thank you Edna, Joe and family for making us feel right at home. Beside your wonderful setting, cooking and upscale rooms the area offers so much to see and do, even in the winter months and only 90 minutes from Times Square. Thank you for all you do, keep up the exceptional creation.

This was my second time staying at Hideaway Suites. Last year my husband and I were looking to visit the Hudson Valley, but I was having a hard time finding a place to stay which had everything I was looking for in a bed and breakfast (If I'm going to spend money, I better get what I want). My list included: a king size bed, double Jacuzzi tub, fireplace, balcony, and yummy breakfast. I was getting ready to settle when low and behold I found our beloved Hideaway Suites and they had it ALL and more!!! This place thought of everything. I'm in love. Not only did the place have everything - it was also close to everything we wanted to visit, it was clean and spacious, it was tucked away in a super peaceful location, and the innkeeper is an absolute ANGEL!!! Edna is the sweetest woman you will ever meet. She is extremely helpful in advising you on where to go in the area, and she cooks THE BEST BREAKFAST I've ever had in my life. We stayed there again this year and will hopefully be returning many more times in the future. How many times do you have to go somewhere for it to officially be considered your home away from home? Guess I'll find out.

I have stayed at Hideaway Suites for several years now while attending workshops at the Omega Institute which is conveniently just down the road on Lake Drive. Since Omega provides three meals per day for all workshop participants I haven’t experienced the breakfast part of the bed and breakfast but the bed part has been exceptional. This is the reason I keep coming back year after year. The rooms at the Hideaway are very nice and I would recommend them to anyone.

We stayed here for my husbands 60th Birthday. We will be forever grateful this weekend happened. They accommodated us to arrive early to get ahead of a pending snowstorm (which turned out to be 18"). Edna, the innkeeper, is such a lovely wonderful kind person, who goes out of her way to make sure we are happy and comfortable, yet makes sure to give us our privacy. We had breakfast at the time we wanted it and everyday it was different and delicious, thanks Joe! When you hear free breakfast, you think continental not here, full meals. I had the most delicious bacon. The rooms are so comfortable, you don't want to leave. All the amenities to make a birthday weekend feel like a honeymoon getaway. I really can't say enough about Edna & Joe and the whole entire place. They named it perfectly!! We will be returning in the Summer! Thank-You, Peace Dennis & Roe
