Amazing little park. The playground is well equipped. It has kids, adventure and water equipments which is pretty cool. Lots of picnic tables in shades. Perfect for a hot sunny day. Nice Clean Restrooms. The parking lot is small and may get busy. There are some free parking lots available after a short walk.
Awesome park for a great picnic plus some magnificent trees and an awesome section of grassland and a open water park. Great place to spend quality time with your children. There is so much natural beauty in this forest along with picnic tables, washrooms and a playground. The creek is super different but fun to take kids to and I believe you can even bring your own floating tube.
Had an amazing time at this park with our daughter. Was our first time visiting this park, we are from Peace arch area and took us about 35 minutes to get there. I was quite surprised that a beautiful park like this exist near commercial area. Kids at all ages has plenty of things to play at this park, zip line, slides, swing, sandbox, spray park, giant tires! Lots of trees and picnics tables. Washroom is not that bad.nRiver a must seeis about 1 minute walk from the park, so nice and refreshing. I can spend the whole day there without getting bored. My 4 yr old daughter love it so much. Don't forget to bring a floaty, life vest and water shoes and you will have lots of fun!nOnly downside was the parking, it was very busy and full. We ended up parking in the nearby mall parking.nOverall it was a lot of fun.
The playground in the Lions Park is one of the best in the area. Kids love the zip line, the water spray park and there’re a lot of seats for parents to rest on.nnIn the summer time, bring your floaty and dive into the river near the park. It’s so much fun and it’s such a great place to cool down in the hot weather.
My son is nuts for this place. We are very lucky to have amazing parks like this one in the Tri-Cities. Plus my son loves the water park to sand pit connection.
