HealthPartners Urgent Care Eagan

We went in to get my son treated for a nursemaid's elbow since we were right down the street at the indoor playground. We wanted to help our son feel better As soon as we could. The Dr. couldn't pop his elbow back in place and then they did X-rays just to ensure nothing was fractured. The Dr. clearly didn't know how to pop his elbow back in place. She squeezed his elbow and my son cried from the pain. The nurse that helped do the X-rays wasn't mindful of his sensory issue or his arm. She first tried shoving the board under his hurting arm & she also kept touching him more than she needed to, while trying to demonstrate how to position him for the X-rays. My Boyfriend kept trying to remind her that he is autistic. He finally had to tell her what to do, so that he could pick up our son and place him over the board. The Dr. couldn't determine whether it was his shoulder, wrist or elbow. She said that he probably just had internal swelling and that his elbow probably popped back into place on our way there. She also said that the pain was because of his sensory issues. She told us that if we had any more issues to bring him to his regular Dr. After my son woke from his nap he was in so much pain and still unable to move his arm. We brought him to Children's hospital in St. Paul. He got his elbow put back in place with a very simple procedure & it took less than 10 seconds. 2 minutes later he was using his arm and was no longer in pain. The Dr. was nice, but if she didn't know how to do the procedure she should have just told us and sent us somewhere else. They put my little guy through a lot of pain doing those X-rays.

Awful. The physician assistant was incompetent and not friendly what so ever when the place wasn't even busy. The staff managed to mess up my prescription when I clearly said CVS but they sent it to a closed Walgreens. They are unable to give you a caring urgent care experience that gets the job done confidently and punctually.

It’s 8pm and we’ve been here since 6pm. Talked to a provider for probably 10 minutes not even... then put back on hold.. still waiting.

Close early?!?!? If your going to list being open until 9pm, don't close at 7pm...... What am I paying for...

The prices at the Health Partners urgent care in Eagan are outrageous. Our three year old son got a small lego stuck in his nose. It took the doctor five minutes to remove it with a tweezers. The charge - $800 for a “surgical procedure”.
