Hartford Marriott Downtown

This is a 22 story or so Hotel in Downtown Hartford in an area that's pretty nice. The hotel is a bit upscale, and the rooms are upscale as well. The bathrooms are small though there's not much to see. The beds were comfortable, and there was a good view of the city. They have a Starbucks downstairs for eating or drinking, as well as a bar. The parking is $28, but if you get your past stamped, it's only $19.

I would give this hotel a "0" if I could. My husband tried to check in the other night because the hotel he was staying in was booked because of prom season. When He went to check in here, they put him with a stranger because they were short on rooms. When my husband asked who he was sharing the room with the front desk clerk proceeded to tell him that "she couldn't tell him that for security reasons". Hello! Are you kidding me??? You put two strangers together and then don't tell my husband who the person is? What about my husband's security-You are willing to put him in a room with a stranger and don't give him a heads up on what he is walking into! What if that person was a problem? Also, why are you putting strangers together? You are so money hungry that you a putting strangers together without there acknowledgement or consent.

I would like to thank the staff at the Marriott Downtown for providing a supreme level of Hospitality during our stay. Myself and several other guest organized an event a worked with Stephanie in Sales to create a room block for us to stay at the property. Stephanie was beyond helpful in making sure we had everything we needed. Also a big shout out to Nadine for making special accommodations for our stay. Thank you so much! As for the food and Beverage department great experience with hot and delicious food! All in all thank you so much to Marriott Downtown for yet another incredible experience. I am someone who comes from a Hospitality background and understand guest service. I am beyond please with the level of Hospitality provided and would highly recommend you for all of your great work. The Hartford Marriott Downtown always does it the best!! Thanks again!

Lovely views of the river. Exemplary service in a really nice looking place. A couple restaurants to choose from on site or several things to walk to across the street. Anywhere in Hartford, be prepared to pay for parking around 18 bucks a night. I stay here as often as I can. Quiet room with nice bed… And the great concierge lounge

I attended an event in the hall. The venue was clean and the food provided was good. Parking is attached and plentiful. It is right next to downtown Hartford, so it is pretty easily accessible but if you go during rush hour you should add that into your commuting time.
