Candlewood Suites Hartford Downtown

Just stayed here and I was absolutely blown away! The hotel is brand new and in perfect condition. The rooms were spotless and had everything that you can think of. Chris at the front desk was as helpful as possible and made our stay top notch! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who needs one in the Hartford area!

Great, brand new hotel. Beautiful rooms. But in the winter time, nothing within walking distance. Looks like a good location for a baseball stadium that was close by.

Good location directly off Interstate 91 from North. Newly updated hotel. Well designed rooms. Friendly, professional staff. Not the most comfortable room, HVAC was noisy and cold floor. Well equipped kitchen.

Good things The set up in the room is great. You have everything you need, including a stove and utensils/pots incase you want to bring things in to cook. Bad things Elevator smells like weed. You can't get into the building from the sides or back so you need to come to the front in order to get in. There's not parking in front for everyone so those who had to park in the back like me had to walk around the whole building to get in. Snacks being sold at the hotel is a bit more over priced than the hotels I stayed at previously. Overall the stay was okay. Probably won't come back here again.
