Order a noodle today, and it smelt so bad. Try it multiple times, and has never tasted it like that. I mentioned it to the waiter and they are very judgmental. They did not listen to what we were saying and keep repeating that there is no problem at all. Refuse to make another one or cancel the order, but just say that we have to take it. Very disappointed, and it was not our first time here to the place. Likely not coming back again for the attitude. :
Amazingly tasty food at very reasonable prices, rich broth with the pepper pig stomach & chicken soup, very peppery tasty, clay pot rice are loaded with big amount of toppings, very attentive staff to help with adding broth to the hot pot multiple times, very busy place with long wait times during meal times.
It’s a busy restaurant requires a wait, even during weekdays, but it is definitely worth it for the delicious hotpot. The soup bases are excellent, and the ingredients are impressively fresh with generous portions. We particularly enjoyed the pepper pork tripe with chicken soup base, as the pot was fully loaded with flavorful chicken and pork tripe. The strong taste and aroma of the pepper added an extra kick to the dish. We also ordered the Fried Hot Pepper with Pork Intestine, and it was absolutely delicious and spicy. We thoroughly enjoyed it.nnThe environment exudes an authentic, localized Chinese atmosphere, and the staff are very attentive and friendly adding to the overall experience. They don’t accept reservations only walkins… still we will be back !
Good hot pot restaurant with affordable combos. They are always very busy with long lineups. Expect to wait 1 to 2 hours for a table. I showed up after 5 pm on a Saturday, and I got table around 6:30 pm. They will call you when your table is ready. The food tastes good, and the dishes are very large portions. But I don't think it's worth the wait, certainly not standing outside in the cold. I'll probably return one day if I have lots of free time to wait for food.
the portions are amazing, we shared our hot pot and side dishes amongst four people and we ate plenty and had leftovers to take home.nnthe hot pot broth was incredibly delicious, with a considerable amount of chicken and pork intestine. absolutely the best meal to enjoy during the winter.nnthe deep fried dishes were also of great quality and flavour, and definitely recommend if you’re hungry worked great for a party of 4nn4ppl - hot pot, two side dishes and bean curd - total $$112.83 w cash discountnnvisited on a wednesday night, so we didn’t have to line up and we were served very quickly.
