I recently had a delightful dinner with friends at this restaurant, following positive reviews I had heard. The restaurant's two-story building offered a pleasant and uncrowded atmosphere. The attentive service made ordering easy and efficient. The food was exceptional, a refreshing change from other skewer restaurants I've tried. Unlike the often similar flavors found elsewhere, each skewer had a unique and enjoyable character. Although our order was small, we plan to return and explore more of the menu.
Food and drinks were 5/5. Every dish we tried was delicious. Particular favourites for me was the Clam with vermicelli, Toasted buns, and Lamb stew.nnFood was served relatively quick. Servers come by enough if you need anything. Great atmosphere, comfortable seating.nnRecommend you make a reservation rather than walking in as there’s always a line. Expect to wait a while if you don’t have a reso.
We’ve been to Street Grill multiple times, and every visit has been amazing! The food is incredibly flavorful, and we always leave wanting to come back again. They offer such a wide variety of skewers—lamb, beef, gluten, pineapple—if you can think of it, they probably have it! Beyond skewers, they also have delicious soups, noodles, and cold appetizers, making it easy to find something for everyone.nnThe restaurant is usually quite busy, so I highly recommend making reservations to avoid a long wait, especially on weekends. People tend to sit and enjoy their meals for a while, so without a reservation, you might be waiting a bit. Parking is fairly easy, which is a bonus. I always bring my daughter along, and we’ve had no trouble finding dishes that she enjoys. Definitely a great spot for flavorful, satisfying food!
This is definitely one of my favorite BBQ spots! I’ve been here four times now, and I keep coming back for more. The only downside is the long wait time—it can be a bit unorganized at times, but it’s understandable since they don’t take reservations unless you’re in a large group. If you want to avoid a long wait, make sure to arrive early!nnThe skewers are heavily seasoned, so if you prefer less salt, you can ask them to go lighter on the seasoning. You can also order cold noodles, drinks, or sides to help balance out the flavors. And if you don’t eat spicy food, be sure to let them know!nnHere are a few dishes I always order:nCold noodles – great texture and perfect for balancing out the salty/spicy skewers.nSpicy clams – super flavorful and a good portion for the price!nCabbage – simple but delicious.nShrimp skewers – always a favorite.nCrispy buns – crunchy, tasty, and a must-try!nDrinks – we got two small cocktails and a party-sized drink; the alcohol isn’t too strong, more like iced tea, which makes it really easy to drink!nnNow, for one dish I didn’t love but still want to share—because hey, everyone has different tastes! It’s a corn cheese dish with candied sprinkles and raisins . It was an interesting combination, but not really my thing. If you do try it, make sure to eat it while it’s hot because once it gets cold, it becomes harder to chew and is just overwhelmingly sweet.nnOverall, despite the wait time, this place is so worth it, and I’d definitely recommend giving it a try!
Great place to eat if you're willing to wait. They told us the wait-time was 3 hours but got seated after 2 hours. Food was delicious and very flavourful. Everything was well seasoned and price is comparable to other skewer places. Got less spicy for some food but it still came pretty spicy so be aware of that. Overall will come again if I'm doing stuff in the area and can wait around.
