Happy Palace Resturant

The food is great, I just find that the containers are essentially 30% empty. Chinese food is my favourite take out, so I’ve ordered a lot over the years and I’ve never been given so little for so much money. 17 dollars for chicken and it’s that little? The noodles, when PACKED. Take up HALF the container they’re put in. For 14 dollars, I expect more. I’ve also noticed it’s inconsistent, so whoever was cooking g tonight, should probably be relieved of their duties permanently as people don’t take kindly to theft.

WARNING TO STAY AWAY- FOOD POISONING!!! Order/eat from Happy Palace at your peril!!! I order a meal last week via Skip The Dishes for my daughter to celebrate her birthday. Her boyfriend hungrily ate several chickenballs before realizing they were undercooked raw in fact; see attached photos. But too late as he became violently ill and needed medical treatment. He was quite sick for several days. We contacted Happy Palace to let them know what happened. We were shocked at their lack of response: they were rude, wouldn't acknowledge our complaint, were completely unsympathetic, and hung up on us. So we contacted the Health Board who are now investigating Happy Palace. If you don't want to get food poisoning, don't order/eat food from Happy Palace.

They use the lowest quality meat I have ever seen. It is on the same scale as pet food. The szuchean beef is just fried coating no beef but it wouldn't matter because it's such poor quality meat I am wondering how on earth anyone would serve this to other humans. Stay away.Food: 1/5

Oh my game changer. I was told to try this place and will definitely be back. I asked for crispy crunchy sczechuan beef and it certainly is. And it's nice and spicy as well yumm. They also gave us complementary spring rolls and extra deep fried wonton. So good

If I could give zero stars I would. Meat was bad and sour got the bbq pork Shanghai noodles .. ordered on skip the dishes over paid quality isn’t there at all.. I wouldn’t recommend eating here

$213 worth of food, skip the dish's delivery, good delivery speed, and good customer service when I called about missing items. They'll added free items and honoured missing items. 12-13 people happily fed.

Order for two and very impressed! Portions were good, very tasty, hot and very friendly service! We had ginger beef, chicken rice, beef n greens and sweet & sour ribs! EXCELLENT!

You know those times when you want good Chinese food, but you aren’t sure where to order from? I had been a regular at another restaurant in the area, however, I was never impressed with the quality of the food. So I decided to try Happy Palace as it was close to where I live. Turns out it was the best decision I’ve made since I divorced my ex. I was very pleased with the flavour, the freshness of the vegetables, and the portions were adequate. The chicken balls are huge and not all batter either. I will 100% be a repeat customer! The lady at the counter was very polite and bubbly! Thank you!

Over priced garbage. Sweet and sour pork tasted like food colouring, rice and noodles super oily and the fried rice just had frozen vegetables in it, chicken chowmein had about 4 pieces of what I hope was chicken but the texture was off, and the ginger beef just tasted like sugar. Whole meal was disappointing and gross.

WARNING! NEW OWNERSHIP.. My family and I used to really enjoy this place, the food was always consistent and delicious. We just bought a large dinner to feed 8 and there will be no left overs this time. We had to throw out the food and we have never done that before. The lemon chicken was tough and didn’t taste like real chicken, the ginger beef was mostly all batter and the chicken balls were so salty it was unbearable even with lots of pineapple sauce. I am not sensitive to salt, everything just tasted like it was marinated in pure salt. The only part that wasn’t terrible was the chow mein and Shanghai noodles. They gave my dad coupons and he threw them away while saying “they couldn’t pay me to eat here again”. I’m not one to complain but with so much competition out there, the new owners need to step their game up or they will not be in business for long.
