Mixed bag, this restaurant. Some good, some bad. The wonton soup for $4.50 personal size was the WORST wonton soup i have ever had i think! So salty that it tasted like they cooked it in sea water! And no spring onion pieces or garnish. Just terrible waste of money. Also got a Cantonese House Special Chow Mein crispy noodles. This was EXCELLENT !! Good portion, generous meat and vegetable quantity and delicious! Note — they do not have chilli oil, only hot sauce. So if you like chilli oil in your food, take some with you like i did. Service is friendly. Owner is chatty and makes you feel at home. Atmosphere is meh but homely. Family atmosphere. Service is prompt and good.
That was awful. There was a 4 inch light colored hair in the beef and mushy broccoli, the chicken chow mein was huge rubbery pieces of chicken with overcooked noodles, the baby corn is always gross but it was nearly brown. The carrots were abundant but managed to be hard as if not steamed or fried. The 1 thing that was ok was the appetizers, 1 giant green onion cake and the spring rolls were ok. Over 80 bucks for all main dishes going straight into the trash. Never again. Try lingnan or today's. This was a waste
We will never order from them again. The lemon chicken had barely any chicken at all the chicken was as thin as a piece of lunch meat and thickly coated in breading of course to fill up the container. Unhealthy and a rip off. Cutting back is one thing; but cutting out is another. The deep fried wontons had little filling and the filling was hard like marbles. Don't waste your money.
My husband and I have been going to this place for 20 years. For our anniversary we picked this place as it was special to us. We knew something went horribly wrong when we noticed several people get up and walk out. The "server" was very very young but was trying to help out. At one point mom came out, yelled at him about our order and then pointed to the tables and instructed him to clean. Then she left to do a delivery! The adults at one point were shouting at each other in the kitchen. At one point another customer turned to us and said "gosh I hope you have a plan B." The food when it came was not good. Both my husband and I suffered upset stomachs and I was so sick all night. We will not be back. I normally try not to post negative reviews because it could just be an off day for someone but this didn't seem like a staffing issue or an off day. It felt far too comfortable. Seriously. Hire someone age appropriate to help you.
Chop suey is all sprouts, way too much liquid in container. Average taste

We have been clients for over 21 years and tonight the food is horrible. It’s not fresh at all. Something has changed, not happy at allFood: 1/5
We ordered dry ribs & honey garlic ribs. What we got were balls of fat with a little over cooked meat inside.
Ordered from here for the first time. New to the Southside and trying to find some good Chinese food. Placed my order at 530 was told it would be about an hour. At 7 I tried calling and just kept getting a busy signal. Finally at 720 I decided to drive there and find out what was going on and to cancel my order. Wife called shortly after I left saying it showed. 2 hours after I order. Spent $97 on cold not so great food. First and last time ordering from here.
