Only restaurant open on a Saturday night like the entire town is the food are great, tuna burger was right on point, ribeye burger was bit too salty, but it’s rich in ingredients, it’s so thick!!!nAnd cocktail is really good too, end up spent 150 for three people, really good price. Only thing is the restaurant was too smoky because of grilled meat, which could be improved!
We loved Frankie's so much that we visited 3 times during our honeymoon!nNot only was the food the best restaurant food we've EVER had, but the service was top notch.nIf you get a chance to meet Frankie, which you probably will, he is elbows deep in the service. He would pop out of the kitchen to serve food, clear tables, ask how you're doing, and overall add to the experience.nnFirst day we got:nCheeseburgernSeafood linguinennSecond day:nCod and chips drool worthy! We knew we had to come back when we saw everyone order this the first day AND saw Frankie grabbing beer from the bar for the fresh beer batternSpicy bourbon chicken wings ordered these after we saw someone else order themnnThird day:nTuna burger beautiful, check the pictures for the close upnCod and chips, again ;nBacon wrapped scallopsnOrdered to take home for dinner:nPulled pork Mac and cheesenHabanero chicken wingsnnEvery item that came out of the kitchen was a beautiful, perfectly executed plate. Don't sleep on the coleslaw, it's divine!nnOh, and try the margaritas!
Delicious food! You really should give this a try when you're in Ucluelet.
We stopped in for some appetizers around 3:30 pm and had the brisket poutine and cod—both were delicious. The jalapeño sauce on the cod was spicier than expected, but everything was fresh and served quickly. However, despite offering a kids’ menu and a high chair, it didn’t feel family-friendly, especially on a weekday afternoon. The music was cranked up so loud that even adults would struggle to have a conversation. If you don’t mind the noise, the food is worth trying.
