A small restaurant, but the food is excellent there. The staff is very friendly. Enjoy their daily specials. You can't go wrong when you go to hank 👍

I'd give Hank's BBQ 2.5 stars because while I would not advise people against going there, I would caution them about the price and quality of meat if they wanted to go; additionally it is unlikely that I would go again. While the food was tasty the prices seemed fairly high (by ~$5-10) for the food. I ordered the brisket and for $27 I expected more. As seen in the picture - I received a single slice of brisket that was ~50% meat 50% fat with an equal amount of sauce covering it, decent mashed potatoes, ok veggies (beets were a nice touch, pickled onions not so much), and a piece of cornbread that was nice and moist on the inside but charred on the outside (seemed to work well though, it was good). My companion ordered the clams and mussels which came with a basket of fries (w/ tasty caramelized onion aioli) for $23 and described them as "Well cooked, with a tasty tomato sauce, but the sauce was a bit on the salty side. And the dish was a little bit overpriced". The service and atmosphere were fairly nice; we went on a Saturday night and it was crowded, but service was reasonably quick. All in all the food was tasty, with the exception of the brisket which was very fatty and drowned in sauce; however it is unlikely that I would choose to go again, if only because I feel that I would have wanted more meat for what I paid. Additional warning: The menu posed in 2015 by the restaurant is not the one that we received for dinner which in comparison is pared down significantly and did not allow for the separate ordering of sides that I have grown to expect at a BBQ place. I think we would have been much happier with the experience with the 2015 menu.
