We had dinner at Cedar Grill both nights during our stay in Ucluelet, and it was a fantastic experience each time! Friday was quieter, while Saturday was quite busy, but the service remained friendly and efficient.nnWe tried the Vegetarian Primavera, Lamb Shank, Wild Smoked Salmon Pesto Alfredo, and Maple Glazed Cedar Plank Salmon, all of which were delicious and well-prepared. The flavors were rich, the portions generous, and the ingredients tasted fresh. To finish, we had the Chocolate Lava Cake, which was the perfect indulgent treat.nnThe warm and cozy atmosphere made our dining experience even better. Definitely a must-visit spot in Ucluelet for great food and welcoming service!
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff.nNot noisy, I even don’t remember if there was a music.nWe ordered prawn soup, burger, lamb, loggers special pizza. Everything was delicious.nIt is a popular place so be ready to wait 15-30 minutes in the evening, and they stop accepting new guests after 22:30.
Went to Tofino with plans to eat pizza and the pizzeria was closed, so we headed to Ucluelet destined for Cedar Grill OMG the Caesar Salad was delicious and more than enough to share. The pizza was so worth the anticipation -the pictures don’t do them Justice. The crust was light and the toppings fresh. Best part the amount and distribution of the cheese, didn’t order extra and it was as if I had and to have it cover every square inch of the surface was the cherry on top! The leftover was just as good if not better the next day nnDespite it being busy upon our arrival and continued after, we still received excellent service and our server was quite the delight, BIG SHOUT OUT to RACHAEL, can’t wait to come back to see you, wish we had more time to converse!!nnSo if you ever find yourself looking for a great place to eat, I recommend you take a drive, or a and then a or even a to Cedar Grill in Ucluelet
The latest time to visit the restaurant is before 8:30. You can't reserve a time, so you have to wait under the restaurant for the opportunity to visit it. This is a minus star. As for the food. The lamb was excellent - soft and juicy, so I recommend it. But the pizza seemed too peppery and salty to me. The seafood soup with croutons with a garlic flavor was very good. Overall, my hesitation in rating the restaurant as a whole leaned toward 4.
We stayed in Ucluelet and ate here twice because it was just that good. My husband had the Cedar burger on the first night and puts it in the top 3 burgers he has ever eaten. I had the veggie pasta with prawns added and it was also delicious. The second night we had the chicken sandwich and the Salmon dinner and again everything was amazing. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and fresh ingredients. Excellent atmosphere and very friendly and attentive staff. Well worth your patronage. Get in early for fast service. They fill up quick for the evening meal time, but they are worth the wait if you show up during dinner rush.
