Steak sandwich with fries. Open faced sandwich served on a garlic baguette. Comes with sauteed mushrooms and onions on top. Steak was a decent cut, cooked to medium rare, and well seasoned. Fresh hot fries. Fair price for the meal. Filling portion sizes. There was not too much seating, luckily we arrived just before the dinner rush. Warm atmosphere with friendly servers.

Really disappointed. I asked the waitress if the fish was fresh. Because it wasn't, I would order something else. She assured me it was fresh. In the end, the fish and chips were not good. The fish had no taste and the batter was too heavy. I am sure it was frozen fish... I don't care either way, I just hate being lied to.

Overall the food was very good. We received one dish that we didn't like, but they happily replaced it with something else and even gave us a discount for the inconvenience. They really went above and beyond with that kind of service! We would definitely go back :)

Good restaurant...lots of selections of menu items. Pizza has always been good... Maybe a tad bit soggy because of all the sauce, but still good. Very friendly guy works there with lots of good local knowledge.

My very first 5/5 rating which was very much deserved! My family and I came here for our first time and had such a great experience that we are going to go back before we leave! We highly recommend this place. My husband and I shared our food. We had the seafood chowder which was creamy and had the right amount of seasoning and veggies. The portion of seafood was generous. With every spoonful, we had at least one to two pieces of seafood in there. We also had the cedar burger and fries. The patty was so juicy. This burger is on my list of one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. We also shared the seafood pesto linguine which was quite nice. You can taste the freshness of the pasta. For entrees, my kids had a cheese pizza and pepperoni pizza. They enjoyed the flavour and talked about the pizza dough. They loved that their pizza crust was not hard like other places they've ordered pizza from. They loved it! For dessert, the four of us shared the chocolate lava cake. It was rich and was accompanied with vanilla icecream which cut the richness and married the flavours together. This is a MUST go to place when you're in Ucluelet!
