Handle Bar Hanks Road House

So.... We ate from here twice 5 years ago. First time was take-away, food was great. Second time we ate in at dinner time and the place was fairly full and understaffed. Table was dirty & sticky, waited a VERY long time to get our food and we were neglected the whole night making drink refills impossible and even paying was an excruciatingly long wait. The food was good both times, though. We got pizza and wings both of those timesnnTried again today, this time for lunch. Was not very busy, service was great, food was great... Large portions, couldn't finish. We had a steak sub with sweet potato fries and a chicken parm sub with reg fries and gravy. Both were very tasty and the sweet potato fry dip was incredible. Ratings are based on last visit. Glad we gave it another try.

As a sports bar, it is excellent. 10 TV screens around the room with easy viewing. Food was good. Small wings but good flavour. Servers were prompt and courteous.

This place has business down to a fine art. As a business owner, it is hard not to see how well this place runs. The servers are all amazing. I love the concept of not having one server, rather having a team of hard working people. While I am there, I am often asked if I want another drink, when another server took my order seconds before; that is service.nnThis place has a wonderful staff and make you feel like family.nnI am from a small town and this place makes you feel like you are right at home and has that small town feel.nnThe food is always excellent and exactly what I order, even when asking for variations.nnI highly recommend this place!!!

Service and food are amazing, we were so pleased with everything looking forward to the next visit.nIs a friendly environment they make us feel locals!

Food is great especially their chicken wings. 50 cent wings on Mondays. I have to say best wings I have ever had. Hate wings that are undercooked and slimy skin. They cook it just right. The right amount of crispy and not overcooked.nnJuly 2nd.nnFood continuous to be amazing and customer service on point. I love how they are PROACTIVE when it comes to the quality of their food. You can tell they value their customers satisfaction. A hidden gem in the small city of Welland. If you have not tried their pizza, it goes great with their wings.
