The staff was nice, but this hotel is kind of a dump. I travel a lot…40-50 nights a year. I don’t complain or leave reviews, but this place needs work. I stayed here last year and it was a little sketch lady at breakfast hiding under blanket doing drugs but this is the closest Hilton hotel to my work event so I took the chance and stayed again this year. I’m not a picky customer The whole hotel has an overwhelming chemical smell. I get to my room and it smells like cigarettes. I asked for a new room and the gentleman at the desk was very polite and got me a new room. The new room smelled like cigarettes and chemicals. I opened the window and left for the evening. I came back 4 hours later and it still smelled awful. I thought I would just sleep with the window open but then someone started smoking skunky weed in the parking lot below my window. So I had to close it. The next morning I noticed the ceiling is falling in above the shower and the shower floor felt like it was going to fall through. I didn’t take pictures because I usually don’t complain but my wife convinced me to leave this review so that others can be warned.nAvoid this hotel, it’s the oldest looking Hampton I’ve stayed at in the last 3-4 years. The staff is VERY friendly and helpful. Very conversational and funny too. But the owner needs to invest in renovating this location. It’s sad that he or she has one of the best teams I’ve seen at a Hampton and still letting the property itself turn into a dump.
This hotel is very run down and old, really needs a refresh. The desk staff was ok, not particularly friendly, except on our last day there was one young man that was pretty nice. Rooms are ok but bathtub has seen better days. When you come out of the elevator there's a narrow corridor that makes it hard to navigate with the luggage cart. The only thing that was positive about this place is that it was conveniently located near a lot of stores and food. However, it's right off a very very busy intersection and backs to a busy road or highway, I can't tell, so you can cars driving all night.
Absolutely love this place!nStaff is wonderful, and very nice.nThey allow pets which is amazing, and staff is always happy to meet our dog nThe rooms are clean, spacey and the beds are comfortable!!nBreakfast was fast and warm, even when they had a full house. Kept up with all the people who wanted breakfast, cleared out a couple times but was quickly replaced with hot & fresh food!nNot interested in hotel breakfast?nPancake house is literally a walk away, and that’s amazing because who doesn’t love the greatest breakfast place ever!nAll doors lock and you’re safe in the building, no worry about anybody randomly coming in!
Service was fantastic. Didn't spend much time there. Some staining in the tub and you could see water damage. Great price and you get what you pay for.
Great place to stay in the Minneapolis area. Very clean room & lobby. Good breakfast selections as well as a nice swimming pool.
