Talk about a view! This is a fantastic B&B in a wonderful town. The owners and keepers are as warm and welcoming as you'd expect from a town this touched by nature. It's a stones throw from an awesome downtown area and a bunch historical sites. The room was well kept and felt more like I was staying at grandma's house than a B&B especially when I woke up to a home cooked breakfast complete with blueberry scones, well fluffed eggs and sausage. 10/10 would stay again
Excellent little inn a stone's throw from downtown Bellows Falls.. a wonderful old house for a stopover when road tripping through lower Vermont! Your hosts are friendly, welcoming, happy individuals who know how to serve a KILLER breakfast.. homemade cookies also delicious greeted us on arrival, and the backyard chairs/pond situation is SO relaxing with your morning coffee. We loved it.
Lovely location. Take a turn from main road to Webb Star and magic begins..elevated a bit and an amazing view of Connecticut River and mountains. Handful of houses in the top of the road and this Inn is one of them. Beautiful place for a gateway trip after hectic schedules. Place is very quiet, lush green, river and mountain, everything available. Two awesome hosts and the owner of this Inn. They are very nice couple, jovial, helpful, full of life. While having breakfast, I can see the river and the mountains, sunlights over the mountains, suddenly some trees will be brighter due to direct sunlight and next moment other side of the tree will look same. Big backyard, just sit and relax with your favorite drink or a glass of wine. My room name is 'river view' and has a small porch with a cozy sitting arrangement. Woke up and move the curtain, enjoy the mesmerizing view of river. Never thought my gateway trip and B&B will be so amazing. Love this place.
My husband and I enjoyed ourselves very much. Ellen and Richard were more than gracious. Breakfast was delicious and we felt right at home. Homemade cookies and tea when we came in at night. The views were beautiful and the property was so peaceful. We will be back in the future Rooms: 4/5
We loved staying here. The hosts were nice and accomodating. Breakfast is beautiful. We found it a little difficult to sleep because the mattress springs were very noisy. The pictures on the listing do not do the decor justice.Rooms: 4/5
Delightful Inn Keepers, great breakfast and beautiful site. This Inn is clean and welcoming, it is an older house turned Bed & Breakfast on the beautiful Connecticut river just outside of Bellows Falls, VT. Warm cookies great guests when they come in the door and breakfast begins with lovely blueberry scones , coffee cake or some other deliciousness. This is followed by a wonderful breakfast entree. This charming Inn is a great place to see much of Vermont.
I stayed here in this Feburary. The hosts seemed nice till the incident happened. After I parked my car, took to-go dinner with us inside the inn. Till then, evrything was fine. But next morning, I realized right tail lamp cover of my car was broken. It must happen after I parked the car there. It looked like excatly got forked by sharp stick. I remember that other guests left ealry the morning for ski and the car which was parked on my right side was gone. So I asked to the host if they have cctv, or if they can cross check with the guest. Harvest inn said "You have to take care of it yourself. Use your money or insurance. It would be few bucks. There is nothing we could do for it'' I asked if they can check with thier guest at least. My car was hit by someone there. And the broken pieces are still inside my tail lamp since it was forked by ski stickI assume. Anyway I went to local autoshop and volvo service as well after coning back to NY. The cost was about $3,000. I parked my car there, and it was broken in thier own property. But there is no one who take care of this issue. They don't pick up the phone or just hang up the phone. The lady sounds very rude and said oh my god, Jesus, or just kept hanging up when I ask about the night and morning. Should I report them to police? Please go this Harvest Inn if you don't care your car gets broken or hammered.. Or go if you wants to break or hammer other's car. You are safe to break other's car in this property. Nobody blames you and there is no single charge for you even though you break a car!! Go have a fun vacation in this crimal inn.
Amazing! Owners are super sweet, breakfast and fresh baked cookies are delightful. Had a great weekend getaway this past October and couldn't be happier with my stay here. View was beautiful, great porch to sit on in the mornings with a cup of coffee. Room was also great.Rooms: 5/5
Awesome river view, very quiet and friendly atmosphere, with great porch areas to sit and take in the morning or afternoon, highly recommend.Rooms: 5/5
We stayed two nights this past weekend. I have to say it is the best B&B experience we've had. The house is antique, beautiful and comfy. The bedrooms are clean & well outfitted with soft bedding, sweet little bathrooms great shower pressure and lovely little decorative touches. The location is ideal. right off the highway, but far enough away to not get the noise. The river view from the porch is serene. The grounds are quiet, nicely gardened and rustic. The keepers are personable & well spoken. Really fun to talk to. The breakfast was creative & served on classic antique ware, in the sunny front rooms. I would be remiss to not mention Claude, the house cat. He is a truly gregarious, talkative fellow, happy to get a quick pat, or full body rub. Greeted us at the door & bade us good day on our way out. What a great experience!
