A hidden gem of a hair salon in Lougheed :nI had the amazing opportunity to see Yooni as my hair specialist for the complete package: consultation, haircut, and perm. She did a fantastic job on all of the occasions and always listens carefully to my requests. She also goes above and beyond to offer fitting suggestions for my hair, styling tips, and recommended hair products. Her english is also amazing and it was super easy to communicate with her! I will definitely come back here for hair cuts whenever I'm in the Greater Vancouver Area. 11/10!!

I have visited this place three times. The first two haircuts were great; I received detailed cuts, and the style looked fresh. This is also why I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1.nnHowever, my third visit was far below my expectations. The stylist who cut my hair seemed new, and she finished my haircut in just 10-12 minutes. The result felt like a $10 haircut from one of those quick-cut places in the mall. I ended up with shaved sides with almost no trimming, and my bangs looked terrible because she didn’t trim them at all.nnWhen she washed my hair, the water was freezing cold. Although she adjusted the temperature at the end, she didn’t apologize the mistake, as if nothing had happened.nnI could have asked her for more trimming in the end, but after all those red flags, I decided to leave as soon as I paid for the service.nnThis experience was far below my expectations, and I will not be returning to this place.

I did my haircut with Maria. It was very good. She pays attention to details and is friendly. This will become my to-go place for the next year.

Hair cuts are 5/5 but my mom went there to get her hair dyed and they didn't do it close to the reference photo, highlighted were chunky and the color was weird greenish hue and white.nThe reference photo was black hair with baby highlights for a slightly lightened look. They did have to strip box dye which might make it brassy but she wanted it dark brown and the highlights to be more natural and thinner. Is this still possible with Stripping box dye or did they just butch it??

I actually hate this place now. I used to love it and the old lady gave me great cuts. But this time I got the younger slim lady and she butched my hair. Nothing at all to what the reference photo looks like, i wanted to keep the length with little layers but she gave me a very intense v cut so now most of my hair is chopped above my shoulders and for reference, my hair was at my butt level. My glasses were off and i couldnt see what she was cutting, i also couldnt tell how much she cut off till i stood up. My hair feels ruined and its been a few weeks. It doesnt look like the photo, it doesnt suit me, its not what i asked at all. She also kept poking my face with the comb. If you go here for trims, the old lady is good. Take your chances with the newer young girl, she could be good but in my experience it was horrible. And then i feel bad for complaining cuz she already did the service. Now i have to go somewhere else and pay $600+ to get my hair fixed. It was a full v cut from my nose down wards, the front had 8in removed. Im so upset, i hate how i look now and i will have to wait 1 year for my hair to almost be the same, at least the front and sides....
